Yesterday's slide and bounce

Jeesh. Unfortunately, Zener did not surprise me this morning. :-x :-x grr_red grr_red Appy isn't so great but no worries with this number. I'm about to get a +3 and see what's in store for today. Could it be another epic slide? I asked him about sliding lessons and he twitched a whisker so he might be interested. :lol:

OT: I'm going on an early morning Target run then off for a bike ride. Perfect weather today: 72 and calm winds. :-D :-D My run was fine yesterday. It was about 9 miles. I got a little pooped at the end but I guess that's to be expected. :lol: I signed up for the Hearts 911 race on July 12, 10.3 miles, starts at 7100', up to 9100' then back down to about 7000'. And I'm going to do the Superman race on June 12 when I visit my sister, 4 miles, flat at 350'. :lol:

Thinking of ailing kitties and beans. Many vines to Ella and her friend Jean. Paws crossed for Dimitri's OTJ trial. :mrgreen: Calypso and her six babies are doing well. Happy Fursday, LL!

Looks like we got some slo-mo sliding going on here...better than going the other way, though!

I hope you had a great bike ride...the weather sounds perfect for it! I need to dust off my bike...DH and I used to do early morning rides all the time...until FD struck. It's been a few years now......

It's been a slow slide today, yellow looks so much better than the color that shall not be named. Appy is crappy today and our guy seems to be having more and more trouble getting around. It is hard to watch him getting more frail, but we keep on as best we can, chanting Zener's mantra - "pet more, worry less." cat_pet_icon

Sorry to hear that Zener's appetite isn't great today (Rusty's isn't either; could be the weather or the aftermath of the full moon).

Liz, those races sound challenging! Do you do triathlons? Lake Placid has an Iron Man (July 27th).

Thanks for all your good thoughts for our friend Jean. Still no news on when she may be moved.

Nice slow slide today. Yellow is much better. The bike ride sounds great! Wow on your races sounds like a blast!
