Happy Friday everyone! Another great week coming to a close! Crazy at work with a big meeting on the schedule for this afternoon - hopefully it's a signal to the conclusion of our project - of course no project every gets wrapped up without a zillion issues but we cross each hurdle one at a time...

The wildfires continue with this darn wind...and we're getting some drizzle this morning in our area which I hope helps. The wind is going to come out of the north today and blow the smoke in the other direction - it was grey and smoky all day here yesterday...we could smell it ...ugh...The fire that started just down the road from us apparently lasted all day as I heard from neighbors that 6 fire engines were still on the scene at 3 o'clock in the afternoon.

I hope you all have a relaxing and pleasant day and that your kitties surf safely...I'm off to work..oh boy...:rolleyes:
 
Glad to hear that you are safe from the fires.....the news this morning showed your area with all the fires and how some people had to be evacuated.....please be safe!!

Hope Luci comes down from the lemon tree and heads for the beach/lagoon:cool::D
 
Wow Sue, I hope the wind going in the opposite direction and the drizzle helps. Scary stuff but knowing you, you have all the necessities packed and ready to go just in case...let's hope you don't have to and the fires go out soon. :bighug:

Let's go Luci Cat, it's almost the weekend, time to hit the tiki hut for some tuna smoothies and then a good long swim in the lagoon!! :D
