Good morning,
Last night was relatively flat blue Libre numbers with one dip around +4.
Yesterday am cycle was a nice Lantus cycle with some lower dips mid cycle and at the end of her cycle. She does that pattern often late in her cycle.

Let’s see what’s up for today for Ivy.

Ivy is definitely doing that work today and now we need to make sure she stays in safe greens at the beach today.
Just tested her a bit ago and she was 61 on the Contour, lower than I’ve seen in a while.
Hope Nestle has a nice surf and you have a good day at work.

At +5 she just hit 54 on Contour (very low for her), Lo on Libre.

And now at PMPS she is sky high in pink.

Yea, it was rough going, Christine. She was NOT liking it one bit. I kept giving her baby food licks as a treat, but she was pissed!
Hoping tomorrow is less stressful for both of us. Plus I have a haircut in the afternoon so hoping that works out. It’s a new place I’m going so I need her to be safe so I can run out for about 1.5 hours. Paws crossed.

Did you try traumeel ointment for her ears? Binie gets lots of bruises from the poking because most of the time she doesn't let me press it afterwards. I feel with the traumeel it becomes a little better.

I don’t have this product. Sounds good though. I’m always hesitant to put products on the ears though since I thought it may be a problem getting blood if we need to poke and there’s anything on the ear that may prevent the blood from beading up.

I know this problem with Binie as well but so far it was o.k. with this product. I think it is because the base is petroleum jelly and paraffin. I know some people even use petroleum jelly because it would produce nice beads. I tried that petroleum jelly hack while I had problems and was not convinced. But with a thin layer of the traumeel in the inside of the ear I had no problems so far.

I just did a research and there is also a traumeel gel for pets which is available in the US. Maybe a gel is even safer if the blood tends to dissolve in the fur. I am just using the ordinary ointment, which is also for humans. As I also tend to get bruises Binie and I can share it. ;-) Wish you and Ivy good luck with it!
