Hey! Good Morning from Orlando! :coffee::coffee::coffee:

@Chris & China does this deserve an AM reduction to 0.1 also? (Thank you for always being incredibly helpful, we owe you so much)

For anyone else who can check out Grey's SS, I feel like I should reduce his AM now, since it's his first time being green for an AMPS

He's eating now, and his shoot is supposed to be in a few minutes, and it's curve day. So I hope to hear from someone soon!

Thank You,
Jenn & Mister Grey :cat:

Wow is right! That is quite a change with diet alone!

That 0.1u looks good until Mr. Grey says otherwise. Very pretty kitty.

Thank you Tracey! He's so handsome, I can't help but want to make him feel better! This pic is pre-dx, but he's like, "Geez, Mom!"

Hi sorry for not having answered earlier I think the 0.1 looks ok but you will have to try and hold it as long as possible, the longer he stays on insulin at this point gives him a better chance of a strong remission, that means that you will have to shoot low to stay low, that is lower than what you are used to, it's scary at first but you are monitoring him quite well so you'll be able to handle it, sometimes you may need to stall ( wait for a few minutes without feeding him to see if his numbers are going up or down ) before shooting to see if you can shoot or maybe stir his numbers with some mid carb food to avoid him going too low

Make sure you have your hypo kit ready ( high carb food and Karo )

Here's a Stiky that probably explains how to shoot low numbers better than I do, but still ask any doubts you have

This is so awesome!! 0.1u sounds great, you guys are doing so awesome, super proud!! Mr Grey is very handsome

Thank you so much! He's such a good boy, I am so lucky to have him. Sometimes I wish he could talk, cause he just purrs and is so sweet, even after all this pricking! But I'm sure he knows by the tone of my voice that everything is okay, and I'm sure he knows that he feels better.

Thank you so much! I'm printing all of this out and have most of the items for Hypo already just in case. I have my other cat's old HC dry in the freezer. How much should he actually eat of any HC in case of hypo that won't shoot his numbers way back up? (Refer to 5/1 through 5/2 on SS to see what I did wrong)

Actually, I remember it saying 1 tsp, and just re-read that, so sorry for asking!

Don't apologize for asking is just ok, dry food takes a long time to kick in and the longest to get out of his system so if you can I would suggest you buy a very tasty gravy can of food ( Gray will probably love having it ) so that you can give him just a bit of the gravy at first and see if that does the trick and he starts going up without messing everything too much and if that doesn't you can still give his a little bit of the food and none of this work then you can go with Karo

So his +4 was just 46 - he's acting fine, I fed him a few kernels of the HC dry. Going to test again in about 20 mins.

Wow!! What a day!!

Sorry I wasn't around earlier.....it's been one of those days when the faster I went, the further behind I got!!

Mission Remission is definitely underway for Mr. Grey!!

Today was keeping me on my toes for sure! Just did his PMPS and he's down to 79, so I attempted the first "drop" shot - Wish us luck! Gonna test +1 to see what changes
