Good morning and Happy Caturday to all!!!
Spot is doing great! He is waiting for his snack as I type, so I'll have to be quick in doing so!
Spot has been enjoying his time at the falls, even though his mum still insists on testing him two-three times a day. If you take a look at his ss, you will see that we very seldom see green numbers anymore. We get the odd one when we do a before bed test, but that's about it. I am beginning to come to the realization that Spot is just one of those higher number kitties...possibly because his pancreas may have been more damaged because he spent the first 7 months on that nasty Humulin N before I switched to Lev. I am also thinking that there may be a possibility that Spot's pancreas may never be healed completely and may need to be helped out with a bit of insulin on occasion. These are just some thoughts that go through my head when I see these blue numbers and see the other OTJ kitties always in the greens. But I always bring myself back to "Spot is more than the numbers" mind set, and know that is so very true! He is enjoying life as much as any kitty can enjoy life...all except for the fact that he can't go outside all the time, lol.
Well, I will visit some condo's later tonight if I get a chance...I am on my way outside to start the process of opening up my pool, then I have to go to work this afternoon. I also have to work from 7 am to 9:30 pm tomorrow, so not sure when I will be on if I'm not on tonight.
Hope everyone has a wonderful Caturday today and all kitties are good for their beans!!!
