Well, i didn't check his bg...and we weren't going to open a condo this week since his Binksday condo was recent...

but in hopes that anyone who feels bad or embarrassed about anything they've done to their furbaby would
instantly feel better about themselves...i decided to share.

I was emptying the dishwasher this afternoon and didn't realize the brat prince was sitting next to my feet
until I dropped a 16 oz, thick-bottomed glass...
and it nailed him square on the crown of the head.

Poor little beanie...he has a tiny bump, and is eating, drinking, running, jumping and playing...
pupils are even and regular sized...

but your bean is truly sorry... :lol: :lol:

he's been running in the high 70's and mid 80's bg-wise...

and the torties are well, though Smudge will see the vet this week to check out her spine...
Annie is just as darling as usual...

ABs have solved the poo issue, and will be done thursday...
and he's been a pretty happy guy even after the accidental crowning...

so we're good.

I got conned into letting the kids stay another week, cuz they LOVE IT here, but they'll be leaving in 10 days...

and I should be ambulatory by then, so can indulge in a jump for joy at their exit :-D

unless my couch time has made me too lazy :-D

HA! ever tried to control a 6 yr old from the couch??

i was up hopping around the day after surgery...

there is a reason i never had kids... :lol:

Aw...poor Binks. But, it has happened to all of us...Trixie has been nearly launched across the room several times. She doesn't realize that, in her excitement for fresh noms, cutting of the bean who is preparing her food is never a safe idea. We always feel awful when something like that happens, but they seem to recover quickly!

You've got a six year old human in the house? More power to ya!!
 
Oh, that just gives me chills....like you, there's a reason I never had kids! I'll take my 6 insane cats any day....
 
Oh, poor little Binkster! Don't feel too bad because it definitely has happened to most of us. I dropped a really heavy set of keys on top of the head of my cat, Boots (GA) and he had quite a nice bump on his head for a few days. From then on, he didn't trust me with a set of keys in my hand!

Sounds like you are having quite the adventure in your home. Six and nine years old? That is definitely a challenge! Hope you are feeling better and off the couch soon.
 
I'm with you on the kidless front. Hope you are feeling better every day. I bet you are an amazing aunt.

Ouch ohmygod_smile Glad he doesn't seem hurt. You feel guilty enough :lol:
 
Awww poor Binks, is your mama taking out her frustrations of having kids unerfoot, by dropping stuff on your little head? Remind her, there are laws against that.
Oh Celi, you know you'll be so bored when, if, the kids leave. *grin*

I kicked little Clancey, a few times, before I got smart, and put two wall lamps in the hallyway. He is a tri-color brownish grey, same as the hall carpet.

this morning, The ex- brother in law and the step-sister asked if i would be willing to "Take the kids until things were 'settled'...because they really seem to 'thrive in this environment'...

I laughed loudly and ended the call... :evil: ...
 
BInksy...pssst....did you know you can call cat protective services on your bean??? They'll make sure she sends those little beans away and that she doesn't drop stuff on your head!!!! You can tell them she used to poke your ears NONSTOP!!!!

I've locked Willie in the bathroom before. At least when Miss Belle was alive, she'd go cry at the door to alert me... now, he's on his own! But he'll just sit quietly on the toilet and not even try to get out! He once (pre-FD) got trapped for a whole day. :oops: :oops: :oops: At least with OTD ear pokes, the chances of that are decreased!! :lol: :lol:

Hope the healing continues as planned and that PT goes well. Glad to hear the kids are "thriving" under your care... even more glad that you realize you DO have to send them back!!!
 
I can't be the only one who scanned this subject line really quickly and thought "Binks got *boinked*? But I thought he was neutered. And a boy."
 
How did I miss this condo? Binksy, your Manxy friend Maggie sends hugs and hopes your poor little head is better. Don't feel bad, Celi, it happens. I accidentally hit Maggie when I was playing with a toy and tossing it to her. She looked so hurt, but forgave me. Hope your knee is healing and soon you'll be up and running!
 
Good for you, Celi, putting your foot down (hope it was the one on the good leg)! You sure don't need an open-ended visit from a 6 and a 9 year old!! Time to send them packing to one or the other of their parents!! Hope you're feeling better tomorrow.

When I first started testing I would give Noxin kisses on the top of his head. And I would also hold the lancet in my mouth when I needed my hands free.

Noxin reached up and I gave him a head kiss after I got a good drop of blood, and stabbed him really hard on the center of his head. nailbite_smile

He was very reluctant to give me kisses for over a week after that. :cry:
 
and now the real admission...that's what i accidentally typed the first time...and we were sitting here laughing about it!
