Yesterday Jones gave me an all green day - first time ever for that!
I have notice that some nights he wakes me about 4 am, and I have just petted him and gone back to sleep. I think I need to get up and test him...those are the mornings with higher AMPS.
We have our IM appointment on Wednesday.
In my attempt to get him to eat more, I went shopping on the weekend and picked up some different type of foods after much research. We have tried the Natural Balance Venison & Pea - high carb! He eats a few bites but not totally into it. I also picked up the Wild Calling Triple Delight, Alligator and Duck. He likes the Triple Delight so far. I have noticed if I put a couple tsp of hot water and mix it up he seems to like the food better (it stinks!). I have also added some crumpled up Whiskas on the food - I know high carb but would like him to eat.
I need him to eat about 200-220 calories a day for his optimal weight. Will keep working on it, started a new worksheet to track calories as well as what he seems to eat and what he doesn't. I did weigh him on the weekend - small drop but he is holding consistent over the last two month 4.4Kgs to 4.5kgs. He needs some fat on his bones - he doesn't have any. Not sure if that is due to the IBD or the FD or combination of both. See what the IM thinks.
Safe surfing to all the kitties.
