Trix is feeling quite fine this morning (anti-jinx!!!) :mrgreen: . It was our most "normal" morning routine in weeks, including wonderful pre-breffis snuggles while I checked e-mail.
Another "first" since getting sick: She came downstairs for a bit for those pre-breffis morning snuggles, but headed back up to use the LB while I got breffis ready. Rather than staying up there after peeing as she had been for the past several weeks, she came back down for her first round of fuds - which, of course, we served while she again lounged on the ottoman :lol: .
And last night, yet another "old behavior" returned: she likes to lick my arm...a lot. She did that last evening for the first time in weeks, too.
It is definitely the return of all these little habits that make you realize things are getting better.
She was feisty again when it came to pill time this morning, although fortunately it only took 3 tries and one gelcap to get her meds down. She was feisty with the little bit of water I like to chase it with, too. So, now that she's feeling better and stronger, I definitely have to get more graceful about this pilling thing!
Last night, I cut her famotidine down from 5mg BID to 2.5mg BID....so far, so good. She just had an awesome second round of breffis.
I have to work today, but I'm going to play it by ear as to whether or not I come home to check on her. She's doing well, I think she needs the space, and I need to regain my confidence that she will be fine if I'm gone at work all day. So as long as she continues to eat well for me before I have to leave, I will do my best to let her have the day to herself.

Sounds like she is getting back to her old self. Still in greens too. Woohoo! It sure seems to take forever for them to get over p-titis. Have a great day Amy!
