The amount of pink and yellow on his chart is super encouraging! The differences I see in him are that he’s showing hints of his usually outgoing self. He wants on our laps a few times a day (not for long and he doesn’t really “sink in” like he used to, but him being out and about where we are is encouraging. His urine output is less in volume and frequency. He still drinks quite a lot and eats every 2 hours, but his inquisitive eyes are back and he’s holding onto weight and filling out a little more.

I had cut him back to 1 Zobaline a day last week but I noticed even with better blood sugar he was a teeny bit wobbly in the back again so I went back to 2 per day. Hopefully as BG comes down we will see an improvement. He didn’t have bad neuropathy but isn’t jumping onto anything besides the bed, and occasionally laps on the couch or while I’m working.

I also started Kidney Support Gold this week, so that could be helping too.

It’s looking like he’s a +5-6 onset in the AM cycle and maybe +2-3-4 n the evening. I’m going to get an AM+6 today and maybe a PM+2, what do you guys think?
 
Onset would be around the same time each cycle, am or pm. I expect his body isn’t used to all those yellows and you are getting some daytime bouncing, making it hart to spot onset then. Going by night time data so far, +3 sounds like a possibility.
 
You're welcome, it takes a while to figure it out. I felt like a newbie again the first few weeks after switching to Levemir from Lantus, and that was less of a leap.
