Good Monday Morning, Everyone,

Rusty looks to be back on track. We had a good blue day yesterday and are starting out today with a fine, Rusty-like, number. He woke us up again early, walking all around on our heads and giving kisses and head butts. We had a good test, shot, and a Wellness Turkey breakfast, gobbled up in one sitting. It's a little cool this morning, so I put the heat on for a bit so that Rusty's radiator will be warm for a while. He's in his little bed now.

Today is a paddling day for the beans, so Rusty will have lunch served in his automat. This is not a long paddle and it is close by, so we should be home somewhere around +8. It will be a good prelude to Thursday's paddle, which is long and often difficult if there is a stiff wind (and is 1 1/2 hours drive).

Morning! it is very nice to see Rusty in Rusty like numbers. :-D :-D I love how he gets you guys up every morning. Enjoy that warm radiator Rusty!

Hi Ella, it looks like Rusty is back to his self with his pretty blue AMPS to start the day and good appy, too. Enjoy the paddle. I bet it feels so good and hope the weather is nice.

The paddle sounds great, I'm sure Rusty and the others have their own plans for the day. :lol: :lol:

I don't think Rusty made green, I think he was beginning a bounce! But in any event it seems to be a blue bounce.

The beans had a neat paddle, one of our favorites: it begins on a small pond ("Church Pond"), goes through a narrow,shallow dug channel under a canopy of trees, crosses a good-sized pond ("Osgood Pond"), takes the Osgood Pond outlet to "Jones Pond", where we have our lunch and then paddle back. We had 4 beaver dams to climb over and the blackflies are now here. I got my first blackfly bite of the season. Next paddle we'll have to take our headnets!!

Not bad for a bounce. Looks like Rusty is getting back to business. Great to hear you got out on your paddle and had fun. I know how much you enjoy it and it sounds beautiful.

I heard that today about the name Mason as well. It was a very rare name when we picked it 21 years ago. Crazy!

Sounds like you had a great paddle:) A good hearty lunch is well deserved after pulling your boat over four beaver dams! Boo on the black flies...they are no fun:(

First you have to catch them, Tobey (and they are very small!).
Another all-blue day for Rusty. Green again soon, perhaps. In any event, coming down from those yellows and pinks.

Nice flat blue is a good way to end the day.

Ella, Versus is now NBC Sports Network, look for that. The Giro isn't on it but, the Tour of CA is. It should be on about 5:00 your time. The Giro is on Universal Sports Network, we had to subscribe to that.

Also, I forgot to answer on calibrating the scale. When i first got it I was using it for weighing test batches of colorants for glazes. We had a set of weights there that I used to check the calibration. but i didn't need to adjust it at all. Several of us had them and no one did.
