Hi Everyone,

Hopefully today will be the last yellow day (we actually had a pink last night!) and Rusty will come down to normal numbers from his trip bounce. Last night, at bedtime, he saw the "ghost" in the guest room again and became quite agitated. But then he calmed down and jumped up on the bed and put his head on his little green pillow and snuggled between his beans. He ate all of his nighttime food and this morning (34 degrees!) he is nestled in his little bed by the radiator. It's a gorgeous, sunny morning and highs are expected in the 60s. Perfect for a bike ride, which is where I'm headed in a few minutes. We are riding from Jay to Keene, a beautiful ride, surrounded by the High Peaks (but not IN the High Peaks) alongside the Ausable River. We'll have lunch in Keene and then ride back to Jay. Edward and Rusty will hold the fort.

Wishing you all a fine day and sending healing vines to all in need.

Morning Ella :coffee::coffee::coffee:

Down you go Rusty! The greens and the lagoon await their meister. Surf well today. Nice on the bedtime snuggles, bummer on the "visitor". Funny how cats sense things like that.

Enjoy the bike ride. it sounds really nice. Love the lunch out and about too.

Have a great day today. I hope all goes well.

Yo, Rusty! When are you going to be back on duty? I've been checking in on the Lagoon and all is well, but you need to get back to work! -- Tess

Yo, Rusty! I hasn't been to the Lagoon in several days, but ventured in today looking for you. Miss you, we need you here!

Hi Everyone,
The bike ride was splendid: a perfect day, weatherwise. We ride on roads, not trails. We had about 14 cyclists and all enjoyed a delicious lunch at a gourmet take-out in Keene (they have picnic tables there).

Rusty had a good day and has come down nicely from his AMPS. He enjoyed some outdoor time with his papabean.

Yo Kitties,
I'm still on shore, but maybe will dip my paws in the lagoon later this evening. Don't worry, though, I'm watching all the surfers!

Hmm, same +9 as Neko today. Paws crossed they both head in the right direction tonight.

The bike right sounds lovely, and perfect weather too. :) When's the next paddle?

When's the next paddle?
Probably on Sunday, when we scout out a paddle we are leading on next Wednesday. Another paddle on next Friday, then the Memorial Day weekend, when my sister will be here and will paddle with us somewhere on Sunday, and then our little group's "opening day" (official) of paddling season, on Memorial Day, when we will have a potluck picnic after the paddle. I hope my elbow holds out. It still is not good!

I hope Rusty has come back down by the time you read this! My GA civvie, Mr Kitty, saw a ghost in my last apartment (many years ago). We were sound asleep and all of a sudden he sprung up, stared into the corner of the room, then bolted out - and wouldn't go back in for days. I was single at the time....I didn't go back in for days, either!

(I typed this hours ago, but for some reason it didn't post!)

What a perfect sounding ride today! Glad you're home safely from NYC too and so now Rusty, it's time to take your rightful place back in the lagoon!!:cool:

I'm not surprised you faded. Your stamina amazes me. I hope your elbow holds out through all that paddling. Sending lots of vines.

Rusty, Cinco is keeping you company on shore. Maybe tomorrow you can both hit the lagoon!
