Good Morning, L&LL. Happy Mothers' Day!
We are back from the city. It was a really good week and Rusty had great numbers all week. We used the dwindling stock of Terumo syringes and it was such a joy to actually know how much insulin is being shot! However, I think I gave a fur shot last night, marring the great record of the week! (I smelled a whif of Lev. several hours after the shot). Today we started with the Monojects again, so we'll see what happens after Rusty gets acclimated to being home again. With Rusty's super-low dose, dosing with the Monojects is a challenge. I have to measure it at 0.22mm on the digital calipers. I am still calling it a "super-skinny" 1/4 Unit.

Judy (@Judy and Boomer ) alerted me that the link to Rusty's SS wasn't working, so last night I worked on it and finally got it to work again. Please let me know if anyone is having trouble seeing Rusty SS.

The trip home yesterday in the big rainstorm wasn't too bad. We got up at 5 A.M. so as to beat the worst of the coastal storm. We had rain until Albany, but thereafter it was just cloudy and drizzly. Today, too, so far, but rain and wind are predicted for tomorrow. We moved the paddle we are leading to Tuesday, which looks better.

Today is a catch-up day. Sorry to miss so many condos last week.

Yo kitties, I'm way up on the beach this morning, but hope to be back in the lagoon soon. Surf Safe! Deputy China is in charge.

got any suggestions for my dd. She is at LaGuardia until 10 pm tonite. She thought she could check her luggage in early ( didn't listen)
and run into the city, do something.
They told her too early to check bags. So she's stuck and trying to figure it out. I don't know if they will let her rent a car. She's 21 and forgot her gov't i.d.

Hope you have a great Day!

Good Morning Ella :coffee::coffee::coffee:

Welcome home! I am so glad you had a great week in the city. YAY! Sounds like Rusty did well too. GOOOOOOOOO RUSTY! Welcome home to you too.

Not too bad of a BG this morning Rusty, a decent post trip number. Headed to the lagoon later today maybe? My paws are crossed for you. and your bean, and the monojets... Good luck Ella. It is hard enough to measure such a small dose, and with the monojets? Well, I know what a challenge that can be.

Wow on the weather back! I am glad the trip wasn't too bad. Weather here has been the typical PNW Spring... a little bit of everything all day, every day. Things here are finally starting to warm up a little, and Spring is definitely here. The blooms are outstanding this year.

I hope all is well with you and Edward. Things are fairly normal here. DH is doing OK, going to PT three times a week. The PT seems to he helping with getting him back to "normal life". Considering all, he's doing well. As are the kitties! Bug had a dental, that went great. Vanessa is supposed to too, but at 16 I'm reluctant to have her under anesthesia. I hope to find an alternative for her. Lola is still Lola, my feisty wild and crazy girl, who still escapes when she can. All three LOVE the catio, and use it all the time. Nicholas and William are great too. Nicholas will finish up his first "official" school year mid June, and although he LOVES school, he is looking forward to summer vacation. William will finish his preschool year in two weeks, a bit ahead of Nicholas's finish. He has been planning all sorts of adventures for us over the course of the summer. Swimming is still as much a part of their lives as it ever was. They will continue to swim over the summer. Nicholas may be taking on soccer too during the summer. As always the outdoors, rivers and mountains, trails and beaches will rule. In the meantime, all is well.

Have an excellent rest of your weekend!

Hi Rhiannon,
It's Mothers' Day, so the restaurants will be packed. If she has to carry her bags around it would not be fun walking around in the city. Also, the weather report is not great. I think her best bet would be to go to the Metropolitan Museum, where she'll be able to check her bags, spend time in the galleries, and eat in the cafeteria. She should take a taxi, NOT EVEN TRY to rent a car! Where would she park it? Driving through Queens can be challenging, especially on Mothers day. Traffic will be gridlock in Manhattan, given the Mothers Day traffic and the rain.
Wish your dd good luck and I hope she finds something to do. If not, read a book and eat at the airport!

Hi Michelle, Thanks for the great report on the kitties, your DH, and the boys. I'm glad that DH is in physical therapy. That will surely help him a lot. It sounds like he is doing just fine, considering what he went through.
I'll bet Nicholas and William are so looking forward to their summer vacation and adventures with Grandma.
Neat that all 3 of the fur kids are enjoying the catio. That was a wonderful investment. I'm glad to hear that Bug's dental went well, and I understand your concerns about subjecting Vanessa to a dental/anesthesia. And you gotta love Lola! She is one amazing kitty!
Please tell Vanessa that we love her espresso and look forward to it every morning.
I hope that you have been getting out to hike, or has it been too wet. We are having a very wet spring: Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River are flooding. Here in the mountains it is just wet. And guess what? We bought a new tandem canoe today, a Swift. We'll have it in a couple of weeks. We went to one of the paddle expos and really loved paddling it. Of course the last thing we need is another canoe!!

Great to hear from you.
