oh darn it.... we seem to have bounced this AM, and our glorious run of blue and green cycles has been slightly derailed. :roll: I knew it was coming when he shot up to that 163 @ +5.5 last night, so.... not too surprised to see that 387 this morning. I hope this bounce is short lived, and that we don't have 2-3 days of yellow and pinks, which seems to be his new pattern. Right Mannie? Blues and greens later on today? The pink this morning is just a fluke, right? You can do it! cat_pet_icon

:lol: :lol: and back to civvie whacking this morning. He cracks me up - he will walk up to them, get nose to nose and then give them each one whack to the noggin'. Then he sits there are looks all cute and innocent with that "what?" look on his face. :shock: This mornings routine was greeted with purrs and leg rubs - nice! Breffis was consumed with much enthusiasm, clean plate club streak continues. Auto feeder ignored - what else is new there. This morning require another escort. :? Mannie! come on dude.... Latest Nanner report: last night he let the civvies play - well Elsa play, under his watchful eye. :shock: :shock: :shock: WOW, and impressive: not one paw lifted in their defense. :o :o Of course afterwards they all got an half hour "mine" reclamation: chew slobber rub roll cuddle, sleep on top of.... Almost normalcy in Mannie Land.

Have a great day everyone! I am off shortly to take my civvie BlackJack to the vet. She's been pawing at her mouth when she eats, has trouble chewing big chunks of food, like pieces of chicken, so.... think we need to see what is up there. Of course it goes without saying that this morning she was fine. figures.... but we will go anyways.

MY Friends!! What is up today? Wanna hang out - someplace warm and sunny, and a pool, or a beach? Guess what!: full moon coming soon on Tuesday, plans to make!! ooooo - and later we need to take the KTSS to Zoe - she has to go to the vetty place today, she's not feeling too good... Good morning guys .. sorry to see the blues and greens came to an end, but you never know what mannie has in store for you .. could very well see them before the day is over .. I hope that blackjacks vet visit goes well .. maybe a dental in the future? Hope you guys have a great day!

Hi Ann - Me too on BJ. I hope it's some minor thing, she's 17, so... so don't want to put her through too much. we shall see. :? I wish on the hiking - but can't today. DD and DSIL will be by shortly to spit all the wood still here from the tree we took down, and get it over to my DS's place - he's a wood burner... YAY!: wood splitting.... :roll: :roll: :? but I am glad :-D that they are coming to do it.

Hey Tess - maybe for BJ - she gets so scared at the vetty... I bet she would like the KTSS visit.. I hope Tobey can give her one of hiss massages.... and no worries on your beans.... I will come and picks you up, and we can go have fun someplace. On my way!! ~~ Mannie

Sounds like a nice morning for Mannie, and I hope the bounce clears soon. I guess the kitties expect the whacking, and if Mannie wouldn't do it, they might wonder what's wrong! :lol: I hope it's nothing serious with BlackJack, maybe a toothie is bothering her. I know at the age of 17 you hate to put her thru too much. Just a trip to the Vetty is so stressful for so many kitties.

Hey Mannie, I am up for some fun and sun, as it's cloudy here today and maybe even rain tomorrow. Yes, we need some soup for Zoe and something soft and sweet for Gus. BTW, I just love my nanner and even slept with it last night. I think I need a few more! See ya soon.

Hi Ann - :lol: :lol: on the kitty whacking - could be. None of them whack back :roll: :-D :-D Apparently BJ is just fine - vet couldn't really find anything wrong with her: no bad teeth, no abscesses, no evidence of a carcinoma, etc... so. who knows? There was some gingivitis on one side, but other than that? zippo, nada, zilch. They thought too that possibly she could be getting food "stuck" in her cheek pouch, and the paw was a way to dislodge it...

Hi Barbara - no doubt, and the objection didn't last too long. Will ya look at that +6. :shock: At least he gave me the morning off... :cool:

Hi Squirrel - Thanks - seems Mannie didn't take anytime getting back into the groove. Nice, but wow! a little fast there Mr Manster... Vetty went fine, I guess. Nothing of major concern - which is good. :-D

Maggie - YAY, and OK!: KTSS for Zoe,and Gus. My sister could use a spa - see smells real bad - the vetty bean had her hands all over her - shesshhhh. Poor BJ just keeps washing and washing and washing.... I will get the soup started... yum! I love chicken soup. See you soon! ~~ Mannie. oh! sweet on the nanners! They make the best pillows, ya know? I am so glad that your bean got you one. We need to convince her that more is better.... :cool: :cool:

Hi Barb - the whacking does make me laugh. It's always just one, and then he is onto something else... :lol: :lol: Vet was OK - I guess she is just fine - well nothing to be concerned over. Dental in the future however. Great... we just did that last August. :roll: General opinion is that she, for whatever reason had food stuck in her cheek pouch, didn't like it, and couldn't get is dislodged, so up comes the paws... I dunno - maybe? Boy was she ever mad that I took her: howled all the way up there - loud ear piercing howls. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Michelle, I'm so glad Blackjack is okay. Man, how I hate unscheduled vet trips...everybody's.

Omigosh on the car trip complaints. Checkers wails like he's being tortured, in the car. Quiet as a church mouse. on the way home. I always wondered now he knows he's going home. :smile:

Hi barb - I know! OMG: kitty torture for sure, and in the vet's office while we waited to be seen. Not a word during the exam - just mounds of fur flying everywhere - she really sheds badly when she's nervous. And yep on the way home - one holler and then not a peep. How do they now they are headed home.... :shock: ;-) Well. I'm just glad that she doesn't have anything obviously serious going on. YAY!

Mannie does it again. Nice numbers. Guess Liver decided it was okay for now. Great that Blackjack is okay. Sorry the car ride was not. All of mine are seasoned travelers. That being said, when I drove from WA to FL with 13 cats and a Rottie the only one that was bad was my son's cat. He screamed the whole way. Finally, one of mine went over and smacked him. We just kept turning up the radio to drowned him out. Didn't work. Well, time to shut down the puter, another 13,000 strike thunder and lightening storm almost here. Last night we had hail the size of a nickle. I've seen 2 pastured horses struck and killed here. Scares me to death. My horses are in thank heavens.

Hi Barbara. Wow on the WA to FL trip, with all those critters.... Too fun with the cat that whacked the screamer. :lol: :lol: :lol: Kitty - you rock. It is too interesting that they can holler so loud that nothing drowns them out. BJ is the same - it is ear piercing. --- and yep - I guess his liver just wanted all to know this morning that he is still there... :lol: Stay safe today - omg on those kind of storms - I feel for the critters that are not in. it is scary. and thanks on BJ - I too am glad. She's almost 18: I guess she is entitled to a few quirks. :razz:

I'm finally able to sit down and get to some condo's and the day just isn't complete until I've come to MannieLand. Mustmustmust hear the saga of the nanners and civvie whacking!! :lol: :lol: He's such as character. So glad to see that he decided to be reasonable and got down to his normal wonderful numbers.

Hey Mannie!! I hear there's a party on Tuesday?!! I'm in!! My bean has been kinda mopey lately so it'll be good to get out of the house. She always worries!! What's up with that? I mean, I'm fine so she just needs to chill! Let me know the where and when and I'll be there. If you need any help wit the grillin', I'm your man!

Hey Mannie - Thanks for thinking of me.....I lubs anything with chicken in it. I gotta get that vetty bean smell off of me. I have a nice vetty bean, but she gave me fluids with meds in it and drew blood and got a urine sample....I can't even discuss that....we'll just say it was unpleasant. They stuck a needle where a needle shouldn't be stuck :shock: AND she took my temperature :o I could have told them I didn't have fever.....all they had to do was ask! :roll: I feel a little better now, but I keep giving my mama the sad face and ask for more chicken....so far so good....she keeps bringing it. Sees ya tomorrow -I be feeling lots better than (I hope!) ~Zoe

Hi Michelle & Mannie, First of all, Happy Birthday Michelle! And also to your DS! One of my sisters was born on my mother's birthday, and just this year that sister's great granddaughter was born on that day also. The parents named her after my mother.
Mannie is tying up your present in GREEN! How wonderful!!
Good thing that your DS and DSIL were able to use the wood from your fallen tree and came to get it, too. Another present!

The opera was wonderful. Rusty seems to have had a good day of numbers (we left for the opera at +4 and didn't get back until PMPS).
