Here we are just chugging along. I really really don't want to fatten the dose. It seems we just keep fattening and shaving around 1u, but we don't get to keep going down. I'm not complaining, I just wish we could get off this merry-go-round! I always wonder what's the longest someone has gone and then still gotten off the juice?

New batch of foster kittens! Still just wobbly balls of fur, but still fun to watch. Baby kittehs!!

Hi guys .. hey, these blues are looking really nice! I'm not sure what the longest time frame is for being on insulin and then going OTJ, but mocha was on vetsulin for 2 months and then lantus for 22 months .. so 2 years on juice and just over 2 years off juice *antijinx* have a great day!

Thanks for the info, Devon! That actually gives me a little boost in the hope department! Buster will be 1yr on Lantus in July. We will charge forth!

Stalling for just a little bit. I think the lowest I have shot was a 56 or 54...way to go Buster!

Well, Buster, look at you! How about a nice green surf tonight? The kittens are super cute and mama kitty is doing so much better than the first day or two. Does she ever get out of the cage? Worse than human babies.

LOL on the kittehs! Mama cat can jump up to an upper level above the camera, so she does get some reprieve. I just love watching them wobble around.

Headed out for wings and beer. Will be sure to keep it down to a dull roar in case Buster goes for more excitement tonight. Also going to pick up a new toy for our solo drooler. I think he misses his buddy (we helped our eldest drooler cross on Saturday). Hopefully we can turn that frown upside down! Have a good night, all!! :-D

Every time I've checked, the mama kitty is in the field of view. I'm glad she gets little breaks at least. :-D I am surprised how much the babies twitch.  When I was a kid on the farm, there were several litters of kittens and I loved to play with them. I'm sure your drooler is sad and lonely, now that his buddy is GA. Enjoy those wings and beers.

Wings and beer were really nummeh tonight! Got a plush toy for our remaining drooler, Tucker. It's a duck. I didn't want to get something so "boring" but all the other toys squeaked and this one quacked, so it came home with us. Out other drooler (Cosmo) who recently passed would tear this sort of thing to shreds, so we never had them. I think Tucker, however, will carry it around so we'll have to wait and see. It is interesting getting to know him without the other. I do hope Cosmo comes to visit me in a dream soon - then I'll know everything is ok for sure!

And Buster! YOU. ARE. AWESOME!! cat_pet_icon
