Happy Mother's Day everyone! Aurora gave me a little bit of a scare this morning - I have been up since 5am, hubby was going golfing so I got up and have been getting things ready for the week so I can enjoy the afternoon to myself. Anyways, Aurora and Mulan were circling wanting food but I had to stall until 6am. I tested Aurora and set her back down on the kitchen floor, got their food ready and she just went and laid down. Odd, she never doesn't want to eat. I tried to stand her up and she almost seemed wobbly to me. I turned my back for a quick second to set something down and she was gone. Spent about 10 minutes circling room to room in the house looking for her and finally found her on the main floor by the couch. I took her a plate of raw food and she ate that and then I took her plate of breakfast which was the Wild Calling Trotting Tommy and she ate 3/4 of that. Very odd. She seems fine now. I opened the window for her and she jumped on the scratch post and was there for about 5 minutes. Last night before bed I gave them a pretty generous snack of raw so I didn't leave out any canned food over night - I wonder if that could have caused it? She was 154 so not like she was low or anything.

Idk Nicole but I'm glad Aurora is feeling better now. Personally, I would leave food out for overnight even if she does eat really well at bedtime; a kitty's natural tendency is to graze and it's easier on her pancreas.

I guess it is possible she hit some light greens around the +9 last night? She was heading to greens at your last test in the eve.

If Max ate late I didn't leave more food out either. I think we forget sometimes that civies eat less some days than others. We are so used to diabetic or catswith issues that we forget this. Whatever the cause glad she's feeling better now.

Well I'm not going to feed raw before bed anymore I'll just open a can and leave that out. I was just trying something different and I gave two helpings of raw so I figured that was plenty. I think I'm really making her fatter with all these snacks...vet is going to kill me.

HI Everyone!

Ok, Aurora had some nice numbers today +9 she was 95 and now for PMPS she's at 91. I'm hesitant to give the micro shot tonight since this seems like a really good number - should I skip tonight and see what tomorrow morning looks like?

Motto here: shoot low to stay low.

I see you shot a 109 a few days ago. That isn't a big difference from 91. It may help you see more greens. :)

Well, she could just surf and stay flat. Or she could start a bounce If it were me, I'd shoot not to lose momentum. But, as Mandy said "shoot low to stay low" but, you hold the syringe and know what you are comfy with.

I did already! See post about four above lol
I saw that but looked at the SS and there was a ? mark in the units still. GREAT! Shoot low to stay low and lots of times they have a super flat cycle. Get a +1 AND a +2. The +1 could be a bit of a food hike but maybe not. If the +2 is the same number as the preshot or lower, it's going to be an active cycle.

These green pre shoots are what you want to see and are a gift. This is when you will start to see progress with more green. Just ask Mandy!

I will check back on you in a hour.

Oh and I present you with the coveted BOS on behalf of the L & L forum. :cat:

Thank you! I will fix the spreadsheet once I'm back upstairs by laptop. I can't do a darn thing with the spreadsheet on my iPad unless I'm totally missing something. Maybe tomorrow I'll post the question on the other board her formoff topic to see if there's a way to update the spreadsheet using iPad

Send a PM to @Marje and Gracie. Created the spreadsheet and she's very familiar with apple devices.

Congrats on shooting your lowest PS yet! We like to see beans get more and more confident with shooting lower, as it helps your kitty spend more time in healing numbers. :D

We crossed posted. Looks like she is doing a nice surf. Can you get a + 3 since that is when Lantus usually onsets? Hopefully she will just do a nice easy drop back into the greens.

+3 = 127
Ok for cat momma to go to bed? There is a plate of wild calling out for her to nibble on thru the night

Download Google Sheets at the ap store. That's what I had on my iPad. Only thing I couldn't do was change the color in the boxes if I put more than one in a box.
