Morning ~O) ~O) Mags had a nice sleepy day yesterday. I got worried overnight after I had gone to bed, as I reached over and touched Mags, and she didn't move or make a sound. Usually when I pet when she's asleep, I'll hear a vocal mrrrrrrr..... or purr, purr, purr. I got up at the +7 and tested and her bg was 173, phew!! I think the heat got to Mags yesterday, even though I have the a/c on since yesterday afternoon. It's already 72 degrees and TWC says we will reach 91 today! Glad I had my car a/c repaired.
Four P's so far for my little Manxy, and hopeful for the 5th today.

I'm off and running very early for my RA appt for my monthly Cimzia injection. I'm leaving extra early to avoid the gridlock. I'll catch up on condos when I return. Mags will have some breffifs in bed :-D and also in the feeder. I'll catch up on condos when returning.

Miss Maggie, surf safely while MamaBean is out. She won't be long! My kitties get all flat and sleepy when they're hot, too...but the also specifically seek out the warmest room in the house. They're like me...they don't like being cold.

Hi, Ann, good luck with your appt. today ~ I hope you were able to avoid traffic.
It seems that as kitties age, they are able to go into some very deep sleeps. There've been a few times I've woken Ripley with determination and nailbite_smile , only to find her glaring at me for disturbing her dreams.
I hope Mags has a nice, safe dip into the lagoon today!

WHOA, and look at Maggie go. Perhaps a lot so she could score some T&Giblets! ;-) Sure is nice to see that 105. I expect she will surf well for you while you are gone.

My kitties too would always get lazy and very sleepy when it was hot, not moving a muscle. Mannie used to sleep with his eyes open - always scared the you know what out of me when he did that. shesshhhh! They were liked Amy says: hot and then they'd seek out the warmest room in the house. silly cats!

Keep cool today, Mags, enjoy your T&G and surf safe so that your mamabean doesn't worry.

When it's really hot (rare here), Rusty lies on his back in front of a fan with his feet up in the air and the cool air blowing over his belly. We have snow this morning, so he's camped out on the radiator!

Good luck with your appointment, Ann. I hope the traffic isn't too bad.

Hi guys .. oh such a worry when we don't hear our usual mmmrr's aren't we? I'm the same way! I hope the heat won't be too bad for you guys this summer .. you're reaching 91 today and last night we had to cover our plants in the middle of a snow storm ohmygod_smile have a great day guys!

Surf Safe, Maggie! No need to rush to the Lagoon, I'm sure someone is there to keep an eye on things. Safe drive to you appt, Ann.

We watch the Tour of CA yesterday, 102º in Escondodo! After the winner finished they showed him rolling into a tree lined street. I bet he stayed there!

I guess I overdid it on the FF T&G. Mags had about half a can! I was surprised to see such a drop at the +2, so better safe than wondering how she's doing while I'm gone. I knew the FF T&G would come thru insofar as bringing Mags up! She's very carb sensitive. Appt. went well. I did some Bean fuds shopping afterwards, yes Bean fuds and nothing for Maggs. Her order is due today from Wag.com.

ETA -- Mags left some nice prezzies while I was gone. :-D :-D

Kat, thanks for the safe surfing vines, as Mags listened.

Amy, crazy cats looking for sun even when it's hot. :lol:

Josie, I've noticed Mags sometimes does get in a deep sleep and I nudge a couple times, only to be greeted by a wide eyed Mags wanting to know why I had to disturb her. :lol:

Hi Michelle, thanks I did miss the traffic and had too much time before my appt., so I treated myself to breffifs.

Ella, you should have seen Mags scarfing down the FF T&G. She loves it so much. It's too bad they can't make it low enough in phosphorus.

Hi Devon, that is crazy that you guys have snow, and we're in the 90's! We are to get cooler weather later in the week. :?

Ann & Tess, poor Mags as no doubt she would have reached the Green Lagoon had it not been for my appt.
Oh well, tomorrow's another day. Yes, Escondido so far inland really gets hot.

This isn't too bad considering the half can of FF T&G she had while I was gone.

Thanks Amy on the prezzies. Hope she can get back to nice numbers when I'm closer to home.

Thanks Detective Poo, knew you would be proud :-D I did need to give Mags a half bath. She's getting used to them. I should buy her a little baby tub.

Hi Ann. What a good girl Miss Mags was to stay safe while her mama was gone. I hope she doesn't decide to go for a dip in the lagoon tonight, to make up for it.

Hi Ann. Maggie was nice to keep here numbers in the safe area so you wouldn't be worried while at your Dr. appointment. It sounds like the Spring weather is upon you out there.

Oh good lord...Shasta's done that before...I pet her in the middle of the night and she doesn't move! :shock: Needless to say, my heart jumped out of my chest and I just had the WORST feeling. Glad Maggie was fine and her numbers are very middle of the road (just like Shasta's...but better!) Hope you had a good day and get lots of snuggles before Maggie passes out! :-D
