Lucy is feeling good this morning.
She ate the 1st breakfast fairly well even though it was the Wellness Turkey.
And the first lower blue PS# since the dental.
Maybe it's due to last night's sub-q fluids, but I didn't forget to shoot the insulin at her bumbum!
Maybe an all blue day today, Lucy?

Sending vines to all in need.

Re: 5/13 Lucy AMPS=135

Hi guys .. glad to hear lucy is feeling good .. and fingers crossed for an all blue day ahead! Have a great day!

Re: 5/13 Lucy AMPS=135;+2=184

She reeeeally didn't want the 3rd breakfast, even the Chicken.
But she finished sloooowly, by pea size finger feeding, while making the ewww face.
She's such a kind hearted being.

I know she doesn't feel so good when her BG is on a rise, especially early in a cycle.
Boo on pred doing this to her!!!
I'm just going to leave for work now, let her be, and try to come home sooner.
I'm sure she'll be in a better mood when I return.

Re: 5/13 Lucy AMPS=135;+2=184

I hope Lucy didn't keep going up. Hopefully she'll feel better when you get home and eat good for you.

Lucy's sick again.

She puked food, and I gave Cerenia, and she puked again 15 minutes after Cerenia.
Cerenia probably came out too. I couldn't really see the pill in the vomit, but Cerenia melts pretty fast.
I put it in a gelcap, but I didn't see that. I saw a tiny little whitish bit in the vomit, which did look like a part of melted pill.
Since I'm not *sure* if all came out or not, I guess I can't give her another dose until tomorrow night.
I do not have ondansetron.
I guess I'll just have to let her escape to sleep, if she can sleep.

She's been nervous about staying close to me since the pilling, so I'll have to stay in a different room if I want her to sleep, and just quietly check on her once in a while.

Mariko, I'm sorry Lucy isn't feeling well. I'd see if you can get some ondansetron tomorrow and see if that works better than the cerenia. Sometimes it does and some cats need both.

I'm sorry Lucy's not feeling well. :YMHUG: Sending vines for her tummy tonight and hope she's all better in the morning.
