Good day everyone,

Here's Juba's condo from Day 11:

This morning Juba was 174. Not a great start to the day.
Last night at +4 after dinner she was acting like she was starving (which never happens) so I fed her a few teaspoons of canned chicken and she left me alone the rest of the night.
On top of Juba's high number I got a call about my interview from a few weeks ago saying I didn't get the job. Meh.
Here's to hoping the rest of today gets better and goes into the green!

I was thinking that too, but we don't have dry kibble in the house anymore, and all the wet canned food is in the fridge.
I'm thinking Juba may need to be fed again during the night to keep her appetite at bay.
Oh! I should also add prior to her +4 from last night both her and our civie kitty were running around like crazy and playing a ton. I'm thinking that could have been a culprit to her being hungry (maybe burning off some calories sooner?)
 
Come on Juba - you're so nearly there. You can do this! Nice recovery with that +4 reading! :D Happy Day 13!! :D :D :D
 
Come on now Jube....Day 13 is no time to do something crazy!!

You might try getting up and giving her a snack at about +9 tonight (I know it's a horrible time to get up!) but a lot of times, it can help to get that AMPS number down. That AM number is usually the last one to come down

Nice to see that her pancreas kicked in by +4 and brought her back down! :D:D:D

Juba jumped from 105 to 150 within 4 hours after eating her dinner.
I'm not sure what to do...feed her?
Should I get another BG at +6 to see if she continues to rise?
She ate her normal typical meals like always, so I'm not sure what's going on.
And we were so close to the finish line...
