Another easy going day so far...happy appy and general feistiness. All the kitties are still hanging out upstairs, where it is extra-balmy. Silly cats!

DH is traveling today...just an overnight trip, but it will be the first time I do fluids by myself :nailbiting:. Trix is actually a very good patient, but DH always watches the bag for me, and keeps her from roaming off by head butting her. But I am sure we'll manage...

Gotta get myself in motion....sending some extra prayers out to Georgia's Simon and Rose's Zoey...

Great report! You'll do fine with the fluids, just be sure to breathe. And be sure to lock the roller on the line before pulling out the needle! :joyful:

Amy, thanks for the well wishes for Simon.
You will do great with the fluids. Funny -- my DH is in charge of watching the bag, too! Simon is good with me just doing the fluids but I like DH to be there. It also gives us a few minutes to catch up with each other after a busy day.
 
Yep, we made it through fluids without incident! I was pretty sure we would, but you never know. I do think Trix was confused without DH there. She's had a VERY happy appy tonight, so I iz a happy bean tonight....although I am also exhausted with all the extra kitty duties!
 
Hurrah on a successful squids session! The first times I ever did them, I was on my own, but the cat was very ill and just laid there like a blob (it was Kisa). I still like having DH there, though, because Minka is much happier on his lap than just on her pillow.

Glad to hear all else is well. Great BGs, too! (anti-jinx) Hugs from one temporary BIC to another! :bighug:
