Happy Mother's Day to all the Mamabeans out there in LL!!! cat_pet_icon

Oh Sunday, we have such a love/hate relationship! I love you because you are still a part of the weekend, but I hate you because you are the day before Monday. :YMSIGH:

WCR: All Ps in place. Happy, furry, purry kitty this morning. Got some good snuggles during my btb time. In fact, we were so comfy, I hit snooze...for an hour! I have a feeling that I missed a possible green dip somewhere between her +3.75 and +5.5. Oh well. She's curled up in her window bed right now with one eye on me as I eat my breffis. :razz:

WHR: Feeling better this morning. Going to do a little research on sewing denim and then see if I can fix a few pairs of jeans and get a few more crafts started/finished. I REALLY need to clean the house today. I can't remember the last time I cleaned my bathroom. My doctors are very protective of me and the bending/twisting issues...so bending over to clean the toilet and tub and bathroom floor has been put on hold. However, it's well past the point that I can handle. Must clean house today. @-)

After some cleaning, I will catch up on dvr time while sewing (multi-tasking at its best!) Sending healthy vines to all our sugar kitties and their hoomins! Blessings!

Hi Deborah!!
Turn the light off in the biffy!!!! Then you can't see what's not sparkly clean!!! Do not... repeat Do not... bend and twist to clean all those low biffy room things! It's gonna look bad on your resume if you say.. my biffy is clean but my back is a mess!!!!

Nice blue surf, Shasta! Great present for your Mamabean. :-D :-D :-D I don't think a clean bathroom is as important as your back. Listen to Mary. Can you hire someone to do that?

Hi Mary & Liz - I promise not to twist and not to bend (much). I will wear my back brace and most of it I can clean while kneeling which means that I won't need to bend. Dusting shouldn't take too long as my house is tiny! And vacuuming will get done after I have finished sewing. Meanwhile, Shasta continues to nap in her window bed. What a sweet girl. Hope you ladies are having a great Sunday. Scritches to your kitties!

here's my method as I am not supposed to be bending over this week... ( makes my nose bleed)
sit on your butt.... and just do what you can reach easily... you should manage a swirly or a little floor area....

this is how I was able to do a little deadheading in my flower bed yesterday.... sat myself down... with a bucket and tossed all the dead stuff in the bucket... slid around while sitting
on my butt on the ground....


and for sewing denim, especially seams... you need a heavier needle for the sewing machine... you will break your regular needle ... it can't handle the thickness.

Hope Shasta continues with her lovely numbers....

I know exactly what you mean about Sundays. I hope you are careful with your cleaning and don't hurt your back. Take it easy and don't superclean.

Hi Deborah, nice WCR on Shasta and nice cycle today. Happy MamaBean's Day to you. I say hire someone to do a little cleaning and treat yourself. I also like what Mary said about turning out the light in the biffy. :lol: Thanks for visiting us yesterday.
 
HI Rhiannon, Carla & Ann! Well, I wasn't the best behaved when it comes to cleaning my house today, but at least it's done and now I can relax for another few weeks and just do little things like clean the counters and such. I did vacuum just now. With all of Shasta's shedding and little bits of thread from sewing, it had to be done! :roll:

Shasta did not appreciate the vacuum cleaner, but now that it's clean...she approves. :-D Thank you all for stopping by tonight. We are headed to bed to get ready for our last full week of school. (next week is a half week for underclassmen exams.) Sleep well!!
