Good Morning, Everyone, and Happy Mothers' Day to all mothers and mamabeans!

Rusty's breathing was not the best last night, but he seems to be OK now. Undoubtedly the cold, damp weather has something to do with it. We had to put the heat on this morning (40 degrees outside) and tonight it's supposed to be in the 30s and we may get some snow!! Today started out with sunshine (at around 6 A.M.), but has gotten locked in with clouds and drizzle. Just the right kind of weather for the paddle fest! I'm glad we're not working there!! (The huge PaddleFest is in Old Forge next weekend and one year it did snow!)

Rusty's AMPS is higher than I would like, but it is in sync with his +4 last night, so I am hoping that his cycles in general will get back to more "normal" progressions (down instead of up between AMPS and +5). I'm thinking of adding another drop to his dose. We'll see. He pulled away from his shot this morning, but I think it all went in. He enjoyed his turkey-plate breakfast (half FF T&G, half Wellness Turkey), his lung treat, his schmooze with his mamabean, and has gone over to his little bed by the radiator to soak up some heat!

Morning Ella!
I'm crossing paws, fingers and sending "go down, gently" vines for Rusty today. I'll believe the cold and damp would affect his breathing. I'm glad he's better and off to soak up some heat. Our temps are almost the same. BRRRRR - but we're supposed to be in a warming trend. Hope it gets here soon!

Rusty!! I hope you got lots of room on that radiator!! I'm putting a heating pad in my back pack so i can snuggle to and i'll be there in a sec. I gots marshmallows and hot chocolate! - I wonder what Maui is up to??? oliver

30??? and Snow??? but.... but.... this is spring! :shock: ;-) and your heat is on? wow. Well, I hope things improve. I too am glad you are not working the paddle fest. I so hope the weather is better for the paddle you will be doing next week. Paws crossed.

Bummer that Rusty had breathing issues last night, and I am glad he is better this morning. I Think/hope that he will settle some in his BG's. They seem more even, so maybe he is. Good luck too with the dosecrease should you decide to go ahead with that.

You asked the other day about what camera I use for Nicholas's underwater stuff. I know I answered in my condo, but am not certain that you saw it. so I thought I'd pass that on here. I have a Panasonic Lumix TS10 (also have the TS20 model). I really do like it, and have had no issues at all with it. It is a 14 pixel, shock proof to 5feet, water proof up to 10. I also have a Nikon CoolPix AW100, also water proof, but have yet to try it for underwater stuff. I find that it too take great photos for what I have done with it so far. Do let me know how you like your Olympus, as I am always looking for new cameras. I take way too maybe photos, and can be hard on the cameras I do have.... always looking for new.

Morning Ella, it does sound like the weather is affecting Rusty's breathing. Sending him some good breathing vines. That is so amazing this time of the year with the possibility of snow. And we will be roasting here today. Good luck if you decide to add more juice. Happy MamaBean's Day to you.

I guess Rusty heard the threat. Or else it was a bad test. We'll find out later because he didn't want to be re-tested.

Paws crossd that he heard the threat and headed back to the Lagoon. Nice to see green in any case.

I hope it was an accurate test and Rusty is back in the lagoon. Sorry to hear he had breathing problems last night. I'm glad he's doing better today.

Aw... he's been doing so good with his breathing.... Hope it's just the weather and you can stay ahead of it.
No one really expects more cold and wet lately....

Hi Ella......I hope Rusty's breathing problem was just a blip on the radar, and a reaction to the nasty weather.
Checks feels it in his body. It's been really nasty here; rain, snow; hail, WIND, and a little sun. :smile:
How lovely Rusty's day turned out to be. :mrgreen:

I can't believe how cold it is in your neck of the woods. Our weather people are saying that tonight a cold front is coming in and tomorrow will only be in the high 60's :-D

Thanks for always checking on me and also for asking about Missy. I can't wait to pick her up (hopefully Tuesday).

Hi again,
Rusty had a good day of numbers, and good breathing. His appetite was good, too. We didn't let him outdoors today because the wind was ferocious and we didn't want to subject his lungs to all that blowing dust and pollen. He enjoyed many snoozes in his little bed by the radiator and had several good combings.

The beans enjoyed two nice walks.

Hi Ella,
Happy Mother's Day!
It was windy here today as well. Gobs didn't even ask to go out. Rare.
The temp was 49 but with 22 mph winds, it was not really enjoyable. My daughter and I walked some plowed fields. Twice.

Brr! on the weather. I hope spring gets back on track soon for you. Sending good breathing vines to Rusty too. I hope your hand is healing quickly.

Thanks for visiting us. My hand is so much better, thanks to the Arnica Gel that Wendy recommended. It is almost back to normal!!

Whoa, Rusty, turn that back around. I'm glad your hand feels better, Ella. I use the automatic entries in quicken, that seems to help on the time.
