Good Morning Everyone,
I just finished a bailing stint in the cellar. Very depressing! Rusty is resting up after his trip home yesterday. We started a new Lev. cartridge this morning, since the old one was at the end of the manufacturer's efficacy limit. I hope that it will bring him back down to Rusty-like numbers. We have a way to go! Everyone slept soundly last night. I don't think that Rusty moved once (he was in the same position this morning as last night: head next to mine, paw on my pillow). Edward gave him a nice brushing this morning.

Lots to do today: cellar, shopping, walk, hopefully ride my bike. Today is supposed to be the last day of the good weather. Rain is predicted beginning tomorrow and continuing off and on through next Tuesday. Just what the cellar needs is more rain!

Thanks, everyone, for visiting us in NYC. We continue to send healing vines to our ailing kitties and beans.

more rain? sorry to hear that, your poor cellar.

Hopefully with the new Lev and being back home Rusty's numbers will come back down. Fingers and paws crossed

Wish I was closer enough to come help, Ella!! I'd totally be up for a bucket brigade! Know that we're all with you in spirit. Looks like Rusty and Willie are high blue buddies today! Hopefully they'll both be down soon!

Fingers and paws crossed that the rain breaks soon and you guys get some relief!! You must be so frustrated!

Hi Ella...I'm hoping to see Rusty's numbers come back down, too. Maybe the new pen and he settles back in at home.

Sending Tobey to help with the bailing. He loves his Aunt Ellabean!! Enjoy your day and the weather while it's nice.

Hi again, It was a beautiful day here and I did get out on my bike for a short 10-mile ride (at least I did something in the exercise department). We also walked and, of course, labored in the cellar (futile labor).
Rusty threw a 215 today, even after starting a new cartridge of Lev!! The insulin looks good and has been kept at the proper temperature. I don't think it was a fur shot, so I guess it's just Rusty and the aftermath of the trip and the 2 partial or full fur shots. He did come down a bit later. I wasted another Monoject (plunger getting stuck and a big bubble). I wonder if the manufacturer changed their product. I think I will write to the company.

I never did get back to the board today, so will try to visit condos this evening. Hope you all had a good one.

Sounds like a pooped out cartridge!! I'm pretty sure Rusty man will come down tomorrow or so..
Also he has been in many environments & senses your stress over the basement..
Hope he comes down for you--Big Big HUgs--got another sign from Copper -a white feather floated down in front of my car! HUgs from us--Lubs you!! ;-)

Hi guys. well bummer on the basement, and the prediction of more rains. omg - you must be at wits end. hang in there...

I did a double take on Rusty's numbers. I bet he's just settling in after his trip. I was trying to remember - did he do this with the last NYC trip? I sort of remember you worrying about numbers then. maybe all this is just trip stuff.

Interesting on the monojets. I haven't had many problems - once in a while a bubble issue, sometimes they are sticky and don't glide well. If you call, you will have to post what they say.

Oh Ella: It's only a few numbers. Who knows why but it happens. Rusty, come back down to your nice numbers. Maybe he senses your stress over the basement. Hope that resolves soon. Wish I could twitch my nose and make it all go away. Wonderful that you got your bike ride. Hope Edward's shoulder is doing better. You can keep your black flies. UGH

I'm in agreement with the others, Rusty probably senses your stress from the cellar and he's just got to settle back in to being home.. He's gonna be back to good 'ol Rusty like numbers in no time..
Thank you for telling me about the BigBug.. Is that something you made or did you buy that?

Ni Ni everybody. Rusty looks like he might be coming down. Yes, we had the same issues on the last trip to NYC. And did back-to-back fur shots that time, too. History repeats itself.
