Luci was stressed yesterday - she didn't appear to be - she doesn't meow or try to get out of her carrier - however there was a huge back up in Georgia and delays due to some car-be-que and Luci started pacing around and scratching at the cardboard liner - and then...and then...she peed ... poor little girl...just couldn't wait any longer - so I took her out - put her in her harness with the leash and she sat up front for the rest of the trip - when we got into the hotel a short time later she went pee again in her litter box - not a lot - but there was pee - she ate well - and then proceeded to inspect every single inch of the room - well into the night - walking on us - knocking things over - and in the middle of the night I hear this paper crunching rattling sound...and get up and she's gotten herself a bag of Savannah Sweets candy - and has gnawed a hole into the bag...and most likely got a taste or two before I got the bag away from her and put it away...
That may have been one reason for her high number this morning - talk about high carb! Pure sugar...
Today was better on the road - not as long and no traffic jams. Also no peeing in her carrier - she seemed more relaxed and was sleeping for most of the trip.
Tonight her PMPS looks much better - she's had a few hours to relax in the room and explore while we went to dinner - only problem - the restaurant was slower and further away than we thought...and we were late getting back so she got her PM shot 15 minutes late
Hope that won't throw her off too much...I'll try to go a few minutes late tomorrow morning - so hard with trying to get on the road and stick to her precise schedule - will do my best!
Tomorrow hopefully will not be as long a day. On our way to Charleston, W.Va.
