Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) and Happy MamaBean Day to all you moms out there.
What a day yesterday for Miss Elsa, our barista in training. She knew it would have been Mannie's 5 yr annifursary on the juice and was so busy making to go ice cream orders for all at the Bridge, celebrating. I have no clue how she kept all cold while she journeyed through that meadow, but she did. They were some lucky kitties! There were some mighty fine treats headed that way. This morning she's back, serving up 10 hour energy ~O) and trying once again to perfect her version of morning mocha ~O) It was darn good! a mother's day special she called it: a Double fudge mocha with a dollop of butterscotch ice cream with fudge drizzle :shock: :cool: oh my..... I had two.

I hope everyone has a great mother's day. We will be having fmaily over for that and to celebrate birthdays coming up in a few days. WOO HOO! A house full of people! Good thing they are family and will not care about dust bunnies or cobwebs or a kitchen floor that didn't get mopped. :lol: My middle son will be the chef: more eggs benedict! That sees to have become out breffis menu of late, but no complaints! he dose such a good job with them. YUM!! Birthday cake too. What a combo! EB, and then German chocolate cake. :lol: Cool! It should be so fun. I'm looking forward to having family over, and more time with Nicholas. SWEET!

I am also going to take a trip over to the local animal shelter in the afternoon, time and breffis festivities permitting. I'm considering adopting another kitty or two or three. I really think Elsa is lonely, and just truly misses Mannie. I don't knwo how she'll respond to new one, but I think it will be OK, if we handle it right. So anyways... off we will go to see if there is a kitty there that adopts us like she and Mannie did. If not, then we will keep looking. I really would like to have another(s) - it seems to odd to only have Elsa, we used to be a five kitty family.... I would like to have that again well - we shall see! :-D :-D

What a nice way to start Mothers' Day with a family breakfast cooked by your son and a birthday cake for all the birthdays coming up soon in your family. Enjoy this special day!!

And how neat that you plan to visit the shelter. I'm sure you won't have any problem finding that/those special kitty/kitties. What kitty wouldn't want you for a mamabean? :-D Mannie and BJ may have a hand in the selection! Will be thinking of you and Elsa.

Note to Elsa: you did a great job on the 10-hour yesterday, little Barista- in- training, and I heard that the kitties at the Bridge really enjoyed the goodies you brought all the way to the end of the meadow. They celebrated in style. Did you catch a glimpse of Mannie?

I'm anxiously waiting for an update on the new kitteh/kittehs search!!! How big is your car? - maybe you should bike over?

Elsa, my dear!! You are so sweet to bring ice cream orders to the bridge! Those kittehs were having quite the annifursery party! Your ice cream was quite the hit. I love LOVE this mocha today!!!! butterscotch and fudge...yum yum yum.

hi Elsa... i'm on my way to help clean up... but i hear there's not much of a mess at all. I'll still help lick the ice cream. :lol: then off we go to get toasty warm at Rusty's. oliver
 
Morning Ella ~O) ~O) ~O) Many thanks on today - it will be fun to have everyone over, celebrate the day, and the birthdays. THX too on the shelter. I just hope we have enough time after we are don with the festivities here,before they close for the day. I hope so too on BJ and Mannie, that maybe they will guide us. :-D Well if not today, then we will go soon.

Morning Liz ~O) ~O) ~O) LOL, and yes, so goes the thinking: that two would be good, so that they leave Elsa in peace. :roll: :lol: THX for that ink. That place isn't that far from us either. How very cpool that they have a lvie web cam. That was fun to watch.
 
Morning Michelle, and Happy Mother's Day to you! It sounds like a really fun family there today, and oh boy, with your son making the eggs benedict. It looks so yummy on the pics. Oh how sweet with Elsa and the ice cream orders for all at the Bridge.

Oh how exciting with visiting the Shelter. I am almost certain some kitties will be eager to adopt you and reach out to you, if not today, soon. And how nice for Elsa, too. They do get lonely after losing their companion. Have a wonderful Mom's Day and birthdays and Nicholas fun.

Elsa, I am really looking forward to that Double Fudge Mocha besides the 10 Hour Energy Coffee. You are really getting to be a really good little Barista, Auntie Ann
 
Morning Ann ~O) ~O) ~O) Many thx on today - it will be so nice to have everyone all together. Not to mention my son the cook! He does such a good job that I just turn the kitchen over to him. LOL on Elsa, and she so wanted to share in her bro's celebration. I truly thinks she misses him. In that light, I too thnk she could use some company, the furry purry kind. I just hope she is receptive, but I think in time she will be. She is so used to having other kitties in the house.

Maybe I'll even get you one of your own! I've got the bean's plastic and know how to use it! Would you like that would it help with your deliveries.

Hi Hillary - yupp, we will try to get there today, depending on the amount of time we have. it would be fun to take Nicholas. Bet he'd want to take them all home. :shock: :lol: :cool: I'm not too sure though that he can go, as his mom and dad have to beat dad's parents place today too. i think Elsa misses Mannie, and I miss having a household full of kitties... so we shall see today how it goes. paws crossed!
 
Happy Mother's Day! The festivities must be in full swing there by now! I hope you get to the shelter today, AND get to take Nicholas! The kittens are cute, but maybe someone a little older and calmer for Elsa.

HI everyone! Well..... no shelter today, we just did not have time. Festivities did not wind down here til 4 or so, and the Shelter closes at 5. so.... we will go as soon as we can. The door has been open, now we just need to find the right time, etc. I'm a little disappointed that we couldn't get there but it's OK. hey - maybe tomorrow! :-D :-D :-D

Hi Ann! I NEED one of those - the crazy cat lady starter kit! :lol: :lol: And thx for the wishes. We had a good time. Wish we could have done the shelter, but well... Nicholas needed to nap and the timing just wasn't there. I'm thinking the same thing - a cat that is a bit older, maybe three or four. It probably would be easier for Elsa that a kitten. And yes, I so enjoyed not having to cook! :-D :-D

Hi Carla - THX! we had a good time. I think so too on the shelter. I think it will be good for all of us. I hope so too on knowing the right one. I also hope that I don't want them All! :-D

Hi Amy - ME TOO! I wish it could have been today, but know too that there is no rush. I've seen photos of some of them online - sure are alot of really cuties!

Good evening Michelle. Sorry for the late visit, but my day was as busy as yours sounds. Your family day sounds perfect. And I'm so happy you are thinking of visiting the shelter. :cool: I just had to go to petfinder.com and see what is in your area. :-D Forget the bike, take a large car. :lol: :lol:
