Hi, all.

So, it's been hard in my world. I'm pretty depressed about school; my mom is in financial trouble and is going to sell her house. As she lives in Jersey and the house is in California, that becomes my project. Sigh. And Dad is getting sicker. So it's been a very tough few weeks. I'm having a hard time sleeping (woke up crying again this morning...sigh...), too.

Sorry for not posting...and for those who've sent emails and pms asking if I'm all right, I have to say thanks so much. It helps knowing that there are folks out there who care and who are thinking of me...it matters. A lot.

Anyway, back to Eeyore, the King of the Kitties. He's such a doll. He likes nothing more than to lay next to me - wherever I am. He is soooooooo sweet. And his health is so improved. His coat is soft and sparkly - really, there are sparkly parts to it. I've never seen that before! - and he's currently snoring next to me in the computer kitty bowl. LOL.

He's had some really nice numbers recently - I'll get his spreadsheet updated in a few minutes. So overall, he's doing pretty darned well.

Glad to hear Eeyore is well, they're such comforts aren't they?

I'm glad you have sweet Eeyore, Esse, and all the furries to comfort you. We were worried and knew you have so much to deal with. All you can do is take one day at a time, one foot in front of the other. And crying is cathartic, so go ahead and let loose when you need it. (((Michele)))

I'm not really all that up on the current or recently past movies and stuff but... he's not a vampire is he? I do remember something not too long ago about sparkly vampires.... Are you sure his name is really Eeyore?? :lol:

Kidding aside, it's awesome to hear how well he's doing! I'm sorry for the stresses. Sounds like you're pulling a lot of weight there, don't forget to take some time to do something nice for yourself once in a while ok? It really does help, it lets you recharge your batteries. Go get a coffee and sit in a park watching ducks on a pond or something maybe and just let yourself *be* for a few minutes. Some deep refreshing breaths and some sunshine can do wonders for your overall well being, plus you need to get your Vitamin D which the Sun so generously gives us =) {{{Michelle}}} I've had an attitude for a few days now, it's probably a good day for me to take my own advice, might do me good to take some time to myself ;-)

I hope reminding yourself how you've given Eeyore such a better life helps to lift your mood. He sounds like a very different cat than when he first arrived.

It will get better, Michele. I promise.

I'm sorry you're having such a rough time. You don't need to feel bad about not posting - people just noticed that you were gone and wanted to make sure you were okay.

If you can't sleep and are very depressed, go see a doctor. You might want some anti-anxiety pills that will stop your mind from racing/thinking/worrying so you can sleep.

Hope things get better soon.

(((((Michelle))))) What goes around comes around . You give so much to help kitties like Eyore, it will come back to you. Take care of yourself and indulge a little. There are lots of shoulders here if you need to cry again.

You guys are very sweet. Thanks for caring; it's good to know that because right now, I'm feeling pretty alone and lost.

Yes, Sienne, I look at Eeyore and see a totally different cat; he even has a fat pad on his belly now. How utterly cool is that?? Marvie, I don't think he's a vampire, but he sure does have some fur that literally is sparkly. Don't understand it, but hey, there it is...

He lets me play with his feet (used to try to gently bite me), snuggle his belly, and loves nothing better than sliding under the covers next to me and stretching out with his head on the pillow right next to mine. Will stay like that for hours, and to listen to him snore cracks me up.

He had some great numbers today - went into the greens, but didn't shoot skyhigh. I'm seeing that more and more, and am hoping that his body is getting the whole idea of Lantus. He's really a very different cat than he was when he came...and that does indeed warm my heart.

Thanks again, you guys. I do appreciate your friendship. I do have a large load, but went out to the barn today and rode for a good hour...now, my body is sore. But it was great to just be with my horse in the sunshine, and riding and sweating. If that makes sense.

hi michelle, sorry things are so difficult right now.

I would love to see a picture of how eeyore is looking these days. it sounds like he is doing wonderful
I remember the before picture....... was so sad.
maybe posting the *after* ( which we know is also still a work in progress ;-) ) picture would make you happy too?
He knows he got a good deal coming home with you !
