A report for those who are interested in what's going on
Leroy... just the usual bcatrun_gif bcatrun_gif and ADD with him  No more lip smacking/coughing/gasping/strange noise making episodes :RAHCAT I was thinking - I stopped using the Drinkwell around the same time the symptoms went away. And I think the symptoms never started until after I bought the Drinkwell a year or so ago. Could Leroy have been allergic to the Drinkwell? Maybe the plastic parts and/or the charcoal filter?
Leroy knows how to unzip the pocket of my fleece jacket  I had put a toy in the pocket and zipped it up and then forgot about it. Leroy later kept sniffing the jacket and pawing at it and somehow figured out how to pull the zipper down, stick his head into the pocket, and pull the toy out  Guess his intelligence isn't affected by the ADD
Emma has discovered the joys of catnip  I bought some catnip squares while at the vet hsopital and shelter today. There was a Mother Day's sale with flowers and toys and cards and stuff with all proceeds going to the shelter. Emma never cared for catnip but she had a good time chewing and flipping her square around
Leroy sniffed the toy and walked away
And while I was at the vet hospital, I stopped by Squishy's memorial plaque. A FDMB member had an appointment a few weeks ago and stopped by Squishy's plaque to pay respects. She left Squishy a little cat sticker. I had hoped the sticker would stay up until I was able to go visit and it did
Squishy's plaque with sticker The plaque is pretty high up on the wall and unless you're like 7 feet tall and actually looking at the wall very carefully you'd never see the little sticker  I hope the sticker stays up there for a long time to come.
