Not sure but they’ll sometimes vomit when trying to poop if they’re constipated. I think it could happen with diarrhea too. It’s good that you have a vet appointment today.
 
Glad Bella stayed clear of the sharks last night.

I agree with Kris, when they are constipated it can make them really nauseas. I hope you get some answers today.

Vet might have to do a manual extraction. :eek: He might need pumpkin or something else to soften/bulk up his poop in his food regularly. Let us know what the vet says. :bighug:
 
at vets Abby hates Sammie so she went after him bit him and 1 of her teeth fell out, so theu took blood for thyroid recheck, check out Sammie said he's not constipated his butt is a little inflamed i have to increase his miralax to 1/4t 2x a day and theu are giving him something for nausea and see if that helps, if not gotta come back, just waiting on blood work now
 
So now it seems to me that he is just has the feeling he needs to go, any thoughts as to why or questions I need to ask vet while I'm here

If his anal area is sore and inflamed he might have the feeling of needing to poop - lots of nerves in there.
 
Generic ondansetron is much cheaper than the brand version, Zofran. Vets usually like to prescribe Cerenia and it can work very well - helps inflammation too.
