@Wendy&Neko caught another BG of 62 on the Libre, Alpha was 75 at PM +4.75 and that was after giving him 1/4 can of low carb at +4 for a BG of 75/A...Gave 2 tsp of medium carb friskies 14%..Rechecking and continuing to monitor.
Can't wait to start his 0.25U accurate dose in the AM.
Do you think the amount of food im feeding Mazi is influencing these multiple hypos?
Vet wanted me to give him 3/4 meals twice a day and didn't want him snacking. I talked to you and we both agreed I should spread the food out so we didn't over whelm his pancreas.
This week I dropped him down to 1/2 can at meal time and I give the 1/4 at + 4 equaling 3/4 can per cycle.
Tonight at +4 I gave him 2 tbs (1/4 can) of low carb friskies when he first registered at BG of 75 on the Alpha, when I rechecked he was still 75/A and 62/L at +4.75.

Good morning!
AMPS was 79A/ 83L, just shot at my lowest number to date. Gave 0.25U, right in the middle. Lowest I ever shot was a 103 mg/dl awhile back.
I'll be home all day to monitor. I read somewhere on here that there's a rule with Lantus, the lower BGs you shoot the flatter the curve.
Hopefully, that applies to Mr. Mazi. I told him this morning, today is not the day to show off and be a rule breaker little guy. Fingers and paws crossed that the Lantus rule will apply to Mazi this cycle and all low BG cycles. I'm putting all my faith into Lantus, hopefully it doesn't let me down.
I didn't get much sleep last night, doesn't look like ill be taking any naps this today. I'm running on caffiene and adrenaline from his AM shot. Plan is to stay busy, keep an eye on Mazi, keep the medium/high carbs close, and monitor every hour.
