We all wish we could stay at home with our little babies but they have this constant need for food, toys and vet visits (darn it). Have you got a friend or neighbor who can check on him?

G'day Holly. I see Zack is doing a little bouncing today. Has anyone mentioned auto-feeders to you? Probably not a worry today because of Zack's start, but if he starts lower it's good to know there'd be food available if he needs it. The other option is to freeze some food and leave out a a cat foodsickle to thaw. Before I got my autofeeder, I'd freeze some medium or low carb food and leave out something if I was going to be away and Neko started low.

Paws crossed Zack comes down a little and gives you nice numbers tonight.

College daughter is here today, gone two days, possibly rest of the week.
Have someone I can ask to make eye contact, not test blood.
Will see what we can manage this week.

As long as you can test tonight, and have the supplies you should have in your "hypo kit", it's safe

Get a +1 and +2 if you can...at least the +2 and lets see where he's at

You would know. You can smell it. Smells kinda like a new bandaid.

Or like a bottle of Scotch! (although I wouldn't know...don't drink..lol)

It's a very distinctive smell Holly...and really hard to miss

I did not smell anything.
Number dropped a little.
By the rule of 2, if you could modify to rule of 1, he went up instead of down the first hour.
Was cooking dinner and missed the 2nd hour read.
Checking the +4 before bed.
May set the alarm for 11:45.
Shelby says she will test at 1 when she comes home from her friend's.

The first 2 hours going up some we can usually figure it's the food spike. It's the dropping at +2 that can be a hint they're going to keep dropping

Glad you got the syringes with half unit doses! Looks like you may need to go up to 1.75 soon. His nadir's are still too high
 
Pharmacist gave me 1/2 cc, wider syringes, only 1 u markings, closer together! ARGH!
Need script here. Vet wants 2 u doses. Gonna have to work this tomorrow.
