Hello everyone.
Sorry for the very late post - it was a very busy day at tbp today.
Well, I wasn't all to thrilled with Zeke's AMBG this morning but 3.5 hours later his BG was down to 87. The evening BG was much more encouraging. Zeke is doing great. He's been such a little trooper adjusting to the changes in his feeding routine. We're utiitzing the automatic feeder to move his meals up a bit. He's now getting half his allotted daily rations between 3 and 4 o'clock each cycle. That seems to be working well so far BG wise, though I must admit that poor little Zekey has had some periods of major confusion - "Why the heck are you in the kitchen but yet I'm not getting fed?!" He's seemed a lot more comfortable this evening with the change though.
Well, as I'd previously mentioned Zeke has been losing weight. I think that's mostly due to the fact that he's much more active of late - jumping and running around a lot more than he has in the past year. It's great to see him feeling so well but we certainly want to make sure that he doesn't lose it too quickly. We'll be monitoring his weight closely, ready to increase his caloric intake if we see this trend continue.
Well, thanks to everyone that stopped by Zeke's condo yesterday (Wendy&Neko, Tina&Sammy, and Chris&China). Sorry Julie that I didn't get around to updating his ss. I'll do that shortly. Thank you Laura&Chichi and Julie&Punkin for the moral support as well.
