Good Morning and Happy Mothers' Day to all Mothers and Mamabeans!

We had a good trip home yesterday. Rusty was a purrfect traveler. In the evening we all chilled out, went to bed early, and had a good night's sleep. Rusty ate most of his nighttime food at some point and this morning his routine went well. It is a beautiful sunny day. In a few minutes Edward and I are going to walk down to the town park to a canoe and kayak expo that one of the local dealers holds every year. Usually it is pouring rain for his weekend, so today will be a nice change! This afternoon we will start in on yard work. Rusty can come outside with us and "help".

Later today I will set up my new MacBook Air. I have lots of decisions to make about how much of what is on my present MacBook I want to transfer. I don't want to do anything rash.

Sounds like you have a perfect Mother's Day planned, canoes and gardening! Have fun w/ the new MacBook Air. I always just transfer everything ove and the n delete things that are out dated. Unfortunately, I've found several programs I have that no longer work w/ the new operating system. :-|

Hi again,

Rusty had a good day of relaxing on the front porch (which is now open; we took off the door quilt yesterday). His numbers are typical of the day or so after a trip.

This turned out to be a busy and really fun day. We went to the canoe/kayak expo and met some friends there who were looking for a new solo canoe. So we spent a lot of time with them, saw other friends, and never did get to doing yard work! Also, I didn't get to my new computer. But I can do that tomorrow, when I will have a larger block of time. It was just so great to be by the water, even though we didn't paddle. When we got home we put Watco oil on the wood gunnels of our tandem canoes, took the winter protective covers off of the boats, and swept out the canoe barn.

We hope you all had a good Mothers' Day. I got a free bottle of women's vitamins at the Market/Health Food store.

AWESOME day for you! it sound wonderful.
