Just twiddling my thumbs waiting for this bounce to clear. I wonder if he went lower last night or if he really just didn't like that 176.

This is cycle 8 on this dose. The lowest we've seen is 152 in the last 4 cycles. Should I increase tonight or wait the full 10 cycles?

Thank you, @Sandy and Black Kitty - I'm just getting impatient, especially with the Hi this AMPS. I'll wait for input. :)

Also, input on timing of dental appreciated. I don't see any problems with my awake exam, but he does have some tartar, so it's worth at least doing the cleaning.

I want to do it next week, which would be 2 full weeks after he's back on regular dosing/feeding from when he was sick, however, my vet consultant (AKA DH) says to wait another week to give more healing time. I'm impatient! Once I decide something needs to be done, I want it done yesterday! LOL:rolleyes:

Nice that Floyd made it to yellow today without R! I know you have the R close by

It's hard to go against your vet's advice when it's the DH.......... I'm like you in the impatience department.

Looks like Floyd is floating down at +8...Lets see where he ends up by PMPS...

Regarding the timing on the dental one more week for recovery from that sick spell sounds prudent, particularly since with the exception of tartar you did not see any glaring problems during your awake exam.
Any redness whatsoever on his gums?
Will you be doing the dental?

OK, I'm being patient over here. :nailbiting:

No redness on his gums. Yes, I will be doing the dental. I never trust anyone else to do anything on my animals that I can do myself, and that usually includes DH. I do almost all the anesthesia/surgery on our pets.

I know a couple that are both vets. I can't imagine the discussions about pet care and who does what. :p

When you see a green, it's usually prudent to wait 6 cycles after that to see if he'll clear the bounce and come back to green, before considering an increase. In between, the numbers can bobble all over the place.

We have another saying here too.
