Happy Caturday :)

Fistuk had nice greens in the past three cycles. I'm happy we're back to green AMPS.

I've gone back to a small snacky at +1 and +2. I wonder if this helps. I won't be able to keep it up when I'm out for work but at least on days that I'm at home.

Fistuk had some more twitching in the past couple of days. I see. it's mainly when he's asleep. DH said he noticed it when Fistuk was awake too but I didn't.

@Bandit's Mom suggested looking at his phosphorus and potassium. The last lab results are in the SS and both are in good range. I've got no idea what the twitching can be. It's not all the time. No pattern I can tell.

Any ideas?

We need to change his food to low salt and low phosphorous. Any recommendations for food I can find in Europe would be appreciated.

In the past couple of days or so his eating in the morning and evening, was a bit unusual. He eats but needs more time and convincing. And he doesn't always eat as much as he did before. This evening I gave him the last bit with a syringe. He ate it happily with the syringe which tells me he's not suffering from nausea.

The weather has warmed up and Mr. Fistuk spent all day out on the balcony :joyful:

I wish all the fury beings and their humans a happy weekend :bighug:

Awwww. Mr. Fistuk looks so peaceful in the sunny balcony! With all those fluffy beddings ;)
Is his twitching like dreaming twitches? Or restless leg type twitching?
His numbers are so nice in the dark green consistently - So nice to see that.
I know Weruva makes low phos cat food series WX - check them out? Not sure if they are available in Europe though.
Hope you are having a nice relaxing weekend! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Fistuk looks so happy and comfortable on your balcony, Shelly.
Hopefully the twitching is nothing serious. I know Ivy twitches sometimes, but it looks like kind of when she’s dreaming I’ll notice things like that.
His numbers are beautiful. It looks like he’s doing really great. You’re doing a wonderful job. :D

Hope you’re having a relaxing weekend and that your job is going well.
Do you still have the sitter coming in to check on him during the week? If so, I hope that’s going well.
Sending love and hugs :bighug::bighug::bighug:

I'm beginning to suspect that the twitching is related to high blood pressure.
The vet did mention that he had a bit of high blood pressure when she tested but that was strange because I didn't remember seeing her taking his blood pressure. I was driving when I spoke to her and didn't respond to it. I'm waiting for her to come back from holiday to ask about the blood pressure numbers.

The sitter has a very beautiful connection with Fistuk and she keeps coming in when we're not at home.
I've been looking for a few others just in case Vanessa is sick or on holiday. So far I have the neighbour who comes in for free in exchange for Hebrew chats but she's not available much. I found another woman from a local app. I taught her to test and I'll get her to come over a few times to Starr bonding with my sweety. Her mum is happy to stay over when we go on a holiday so that could be amazing.

I discovered a neighbour who does some pet sitting. she literally lives across my street. I taught her to test and had her over once to test and feed while I was here. Fistuk didn't like her at all. He just wouldn't eat for her. So that's a flat NO :p He makes his own choices.

Hmmm. Fistuk didn’t like the neighbor. He’s got his own ideas. Smart boy.
But it sounds like you have a good batch of people that are willing to learn and willing to help so that’s wonderful and you’re lucky that he’s pretty easy going in certain ways although I know he doesn’t love when the vet comes to call. Hoping it’s not a blood pressure thing. I’m having an issue without myself because my vet is refusing to check Ivy‘s blood pressure because she doesn’t think it will be accurate because of Ivy‘s nature and being so difficult to handle. So I’m completely in the dark. I’m gonna have the cardiologist check it when I go for that appointment this week hoping they will be successful. So many balls to juggle, isn’t it? :bighug::bighug::bighug:
