Ok, dare I say it.....On this day, Tuesday May 11, 2010 Spottie Spottikiss has ended his second OTJ trial and is now going back to his condo at the falls!!! He promises that he will be in Lantus Land visiting often and that he will make every effort to make the falls his furrever home (besides the one with his mamabean) cat_pet_icon way to go Spot!!!!! It was a little heartbreaking when I had to start the insulin regimine again but I knew it was the best thing for Spot. After one week, with only a drop of insulin twice a day, Spot was once again on his OTJ countdown!! I would like to thank everyone in our Lantus Land family for all of your support and encouragement during our first AND second trials. I am sure you know how much it ment to us!!

We are inviting all kitties and beans to please join us in celebrating this glorious day by viewing our first OTJ condo

and stopping in for some appitizers and drinks. Spot is hoping that later on this evening his friends can come over and join him in some singing, dancing, and game playing. He so enjoys dancing with his favorate feline, Ms. Moonie and playing Scrabble with Carolyn's Latte, hanging under the piano with Devon's Latte, hanging with JD, Putty, Mocha, Gabby, Alex, and Do Lou, singing with Tess and eating Stu's flavor of the day and is looking forward to hanging out on the balcony at the falls with Boomer, Scrabble, Max, Baby, and Tugger....sorry if we missed anyone... he loves you all so much!!!

Not sure exactly what happened yesterday, but Spot brought himself down nicely this morning. I'm going out on a limb here and say that Spot may have found some Sunchips that the little fellows may have dropped outside when they were over on Mother's Day. Spot enjoys those crispy cheezy illegal snacks ya know. Spot did a very good job finding his automat and bean slept all night. This morning it took him a little time to find his pacing pants, but he eventually did, and then changed them for some zippy pants after a trip to the LB....those darn alioons!! Very furry and purry for his test. Ate all his breffis and promptly made his way back to the testing spot and when I walked into the LR, he yelled and yelled until he got another treat. Hopefully Spot is now chillaxin at home, resting up for his little gathering tonight.

YAY SPOT IS BACK AT THE FALLS

Deb, what a great day this is for you.
Max has been keeping tight security over Spot'c condo at the falls, making sure that
the new arrivals didn't take off with Spots collecion of zippy pants. :-D

He is glad to have his buddy back but I told him to keep an eye on him, just in case, Don't want him to overdo it.

YAY! Good work on your part. I'm thrilled for you guys! You must be so happy and relieved. Thank you for paving this road for Boomer and I as we navigate our way back to the Falls!

Good to see you back, Spot. Cool the way you made your bean put you back on the insuhlim. I am always making my bean think she has to do that. I know, it's a little mean, but it's so funny watchen them run around thinken about nothen but ME!

Deb, you care and perseverance is an inspiration! You didn't melt down when Spot needed a little more help, just got back to the job at hand. You've shown us that even when things don't go according to plan, we can turn them back and reach our kitties goals.

I'll say what I said the other day:

So, are the shutters being closed, doors and windows locked, and the keys turned over to the next owners of this condo? I'm assuming the condo at the Falls is ready and waiting.

Here's a toast to Spot's new adventure -- but only if you will think fondly of absent friends and visit often.

Thank you all so very much for your welcomes back and your congratulations! Spot is very happy to be back at the falls and just can't wait to hang out on his new chair on the balcony. He loves those chairs so much!

To answer Cheryl...yes, I am ready to lock the doors and close the shutters and hand over the keys to another owner, but Spot sez that he would like to keep a condo in LL, just in case he needs it again. I told him that if he had to go back we could just rent an efficiency apartment. Ms. Maui, I'm sorry to say that Spot has decided that he would like to enjoy retirement once he returned to the falls so he made sure that he explained his old jobs in detail to Max and Scrabble and Tugger so that they could carry on.

Well, gotta get going...I have to help the furries get ready for the party...Hope everyone can make it...Spot is really looking forward to tasting Moonie's trout tidbits and shrimp and tuna pies and dancing the night away with her.

Hey Spotty, I've been travelin' all day so I just got to read your good news! Hooray for you, pal! I knew you could get back to the Falls (with a little help from your mamabean!). I'll be along in a jif with some tuna pizzas for the gang. I'll be interested to see the Falls. Maybe some day I'll get there, too! Don't forget to write!

I guess I am late to the party although I see Putty did attend. I actually thought I posted yesterday.
I am happy to see Spot is back at the Falls where he belongs. Please stay there Spot.....you are always welcome to share Putty's condo with him but keep your primary residence just where you are.

I never thought of him as leaving the Falls -- I knew he would be back, he's Mr. Zippy Pants.
 
Great news! Congratulations. I hope Spot shows everyone how to wear zippy pants, they always bring a smile.
 
Well what do ya know! Congrats Deb and spot. Your patience and determination is admirable.
Latte certainly hopes Spot will stop on by occassionally for a game of scrabble!
