top of the morning to our FDMB friends and sugar babies. Brilliant sunshine here in Bay Area, California and Cali is feeling her oats [meloxicam]. Flying off her perch to intimidate her Tuxedo brother, Sheriff Black Cat Two Socks, who she still has not come to love his presence. I am told stress heightens BG and exercise lowers BG - TWO’s determination to be a part of our family does one or the other? Anyway she is more active and alert than her condition the past two years. So happy. Crazy loco Mexican beach cat where we found her almost 10 years ago once again lives up to her catitude. Thrills DH and me. Thanks

Meloxicam really made a world of difference for Budge also. It was a pleasure to see her pain free and zoom around!

Bhooma, thanks to you she is on meloxicam. Now she loves you for that plus all the snacks she gets every time she donates a drop of blood [or extracts a drop or two from us]. :bighug::oops::cat:

Please share a few of that cute Bandit’s antics. After all she is the reason we have come to know and love you. :bookworm:

+6.5 [52]
+9 [82]
No tests interim, DH had eye injury, rock from mower. To hospital for clinical review by his surgeon who performed cataract surgery on both eyes last year. Eye was abraded, so we missed a few tests but kept her fed while awaiting callback from Optho . Good girl, Cali. She is daddy sitting him now, snuggled down in bed.
Next test PMPS

Ouch! That sounds painful. Hope he is feeling better now?

I hope DH feels better soon. :bighug:

thanks. I think those antibiotic drops have steroids in them so they help. We will see how grumpy he is when alarms go off for tests. Cali is beginning to think we just set alarms to wake her up and feed her! Her waist is beginning to really show the snacks even though I am trying to feed morsels. DH will get eye drops every time we test Cali. 2 for one. LOL.

PM+4 [57] fed 1Tbsp LC],’ she ate readily of course, now grooming. I have to put drops in DH eyes and redo bandage. Then can feed her again 30-60 minutes.
Then next ? Safe for her? @bhooma

James says set alarm and we will do what we have to do to take care of Cali. I tried to look at data for other PMs on 2U [is that a good guideline?]

Hi Carla, sorry. I was on the road and didn't have network.

I had thought you could feed her MC if she dropped so that you could get a respite from tests considering DH's eye and since it takes both of you to test Cali. The MC might keep her in slightly higher numbers.

thanks I was going to but alarm woke him up first, so we tested. Cali still holding. I think safe now to give 1 more feed about +9 since 1 fed 2tbsp or the 53.
