Morning all, wishes for everyone to have a good day and prayers for all the kitties

STARTED NEW LANTUS PEN 5-7-20 THURS to see if that's why Tyler's pre shots have been blue all of a sudden, some have been higher blues
Trying this for about 3-4 cycles before I think about an increase

Well doesn't look like it was the pen that was getting old

Hope the noise from the gas line street work is not too much for all of you and your family, human and furred.
Hey Deb no the noise is unbearable, , you should hear when they cut into the street with the machine they have it SUCKS!!!
Then you hear all the trucks running non shop. Then the beeping when they back up
Then they have to fill it with dirt, the the asphalt , then roll over it with a loud machine
We have to leave every day they do this, even the streets they do that are 2 blocks away you can hear it, This will go on for about 2 months they are doing my whole town, even neighboring towns. My daughter is in the car right now 2 blocks away , I just ran home to take care of the cats. We want to kill our selves or them.
That's why I didn't want to start the increase for Tyler today, poor thing is under the bed.

That would be annoying.
Hey Paula annoying doesn't even describe the noise, what's worse is that my daughter I'd very ill, so every time there is any type of noise we have to leave and sit in the car some where, it's called Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, known as they Suicide Disease
I sort of explained it to Wendy in another post
I just copied it below

It's a central nervous system disease which affects the limbs, internal organs, pain signals do not shot off.

It feels like someone poured gas on you and lit a match, she has it full body and mainly in her ears, so the noise just kills her, like an ice pick just constantly stabbing you in the ears and then leads to her face, eyes, temples, and entire head

She has it for 15 yes already, she is 35 , doesn't leave the house other than doctor visits. You can't escape noise. No way to live

It's actually known as the Suicide Disease, I belong to many support groups and there are thousands that have taken their own lives because they just couldn't take the pain any longer.
Her best friend who had the disease took her life 3 yes ago , same age as my daughter Ashley.

The loneliness is just unbearable for her. She prays every note to pass in her sleep
It's just me and her, my husband died 12 yrs ago

There is no awareness, no funding for research, this damn disease has been around since the civil war. It's rated the highest pain level on the McGill Pain Scale

Sorry I'm rambling on. Her pain is 24/7. She has no quality of life
If I could trade places with her I would.

My heart is just broken . Sorry I'm telling you all this , I know its a forum for cats

There aren't many treatments for it and we have tried everything, flew to many different states over the years. Nothing helped

Anyway I didn't want to try the increase today because I was told they would be here today working and I knew the noise would scare the heck out of Tyler and his brother Perry who has kidney disease, so I would have to park blocks away and leave Ashley in the car and walk back for Tyler to test at 8:30 am, that's if I could find him hiding. Then see if he would eat, when he hears any noise he won't eat.

So to be safe I didn't increase it today. I'll have to wait until after they do my street which will be any day this week.
Then they do the blocks by my house which I will still hear.
Sitting in a car for 9 hours is murder for her

Some members know about Ashley and they have been very supportive and I cherish that.

So between taking care of Tyler and his brother who gets 6 meds a day and taking care of Ashley is a lot, and so depressing , so when something happens with Tyler's numbers I worry so much even though his numbers aren't that bad, I worry about Perry, I worry about everything lol, I just can't help it

I see my daughter suffer every day and it's heartbreaking

No issues on not doing an increase for Tyler right now Diane. You need to take care of yourself and your daughter with the CRPS.

I know what you mean about the constant noise and the smells of construction. Last year, there was construction in the marsh across the road from me, to replace a long decrepit bridge that was restricting the tidal flow. Took them 6 months to do the work, all spring and summer. I thought it would never end.

Thanks Deb, I feel like I'm at my breaking point.
We had to leave my apartment 6 times today, no lying, every time we thought it stopped , it started up again, then to boot in front of my place the main sewer line was clogged, town tried to unclog it but their equipment wasn't strong enough, so they had to call some company to do it, you wouldn't believe how loud it was, back in the car for an hour, drove past they were gone. Not even 15 minutes later I hear a truck, it was them again, I went outside and asked the guy what's the damn problem, he said it gets clogged from people pouring cooking grease down the sinks and toilet bowls and this is why it happens. So in the friggin car again!!!
Finally they finished at 7 pm.
When I see our public works department, better yet I'm going to go down there and tell them why don't you send damn letters out and tell them to stop pouring sh*t down their sinks and toilet bowls

Ashley is in so much pain right now that I want to kill someone
I went to bed at 4 am got up at 6 am and am dead tired
Oh but can't wait until tomorrow , pseg will probably start tearing up the street in front of my place , starting at 7 am
I think I'm going to lose it soon
I'm thankful that I have you guys to vent to, like people have said here we are family:bighug:

:bighug::bighug::bighug:
Vent ALL you need or want to Diane.

Sleepless nights don't help much, to deal with the constant problems happening out on your street.
They make you really irritable and short tempered. You have enough to deal with, without these additional headaches from public works department.:mad::mad:

Wish you could rent a place elsewhere for a while, somewhere quiet and peaceful. :)
