AMPS~350 fed 1oz, 3.75% Raw mix- (NV Raw-Venison/Avoderm Chicken), 50 kcal/oz, 166mg Phos/100 kcal., .2u (.45mm) Lev, Pet Dophilus, Guar Gum
Good Morning LL! Really looking forward to Miss Elsa's first delivery of 10 hour Energy Coffee a la Mode! Tess escaped the dosecrease again this morning by the skin of her teeth. We did start a new pen today though. The last one was on day 66 and it was time. I glad I didn't need to do both at the same time. These blues could be due to low appetite however. She left most of her food last night (I think holding out for something better) and hasn't quite finished breffis this morning.
Liz, from last night's question, psyllium absorbs water into the stool and can also bulk it up. It is a prebiotic, which means it is indigestible but the cat but feeds the good bacteria in the gut. Too much can bind other nutrients, but the doses I found were from 1/8 tsp to 4 grams (about 2 tsp), so all over the place.
WCR All 5 Ps, not quite Clean Plate Club, and a pretty quiet morning here.

MiraLAX is an osmotic laxative like lactulose, but unlike lactulose, it retains water in the colon rather than pulling it into the colon from the rest of the body.
