Simon's AMPS is exactly what it was yesterday morning. He seems to be just surfin around this number for the past couple of days. He seems a little off to me and I'm not sure what to do. He is still eating well and purring and using the lb, but he is hanging out under the futon in the guest room all the time except at night. He doesn't seem to be in any distress, and maybe I'm being overly concerned, but it just is a feeling I have. Maybe it has to do with the ear allergies and the ear drops. Or maybe it is because it is so hot here the last couple of days. It is supposed to go up to 90 today or tomorrow and the futon is positioned near one of the air vents. Do you think that might be it? The only thing strange is that he has never sat under there before. Anyway, I'll keep watching him closely and bring him to the vet if I see any changes.

sounds like the heat is bothering him to me. When the humitity hits Toronto, Tray squishes against the vent to steal all the air conditioning from us :lol: But if it persists a call to the vet isn't such a bad idea. Hopefully the weather will cool and Simon will be himself again.

No eye-squinting problems. He just seems more lethargic but he did swat at his toy when I dangled it in front of him so I guess that is a good sign. I'm hoping it is just the heat.

Hi guys .. not a bad start to the day .. I think it is probably the heat that is bugging simon .. when it's hot here the girls don't move around a lot, they try to find a cool place for the entire day ... have a great day guys!

Morning guys! I too suspect it's the heat. We don't get alot of really hot days, but when we do, everything stops for the kitties. I hope that is all it is for Simon. Maybe he has just discovered that it is cooler there.

ok, I was successful in putting a video on Simon's post so now I'm trying a picture. Not sure if this is going to work. This is a picture of Simon and my civvie, Cleo on their blanket with nanner.

my boogers hate the warm weather as well...it's been in the 70's here today and they're positioned at the vents waiting for the AC.

hope that's all it is with the Simonizer!
 
Simon is so handsome.

Curry had a little chirp when she saw his photo. Curry never chirps. :lol: And Cleo is so cute. What a wonderful kitty family.

Sweet picture of the two together! The nanners are so popular. I just sent for one for Maggie. I think the heat wins with what everyone thinks might be causing the lethargic feeling with Simon. I know it bothers Maggie, too. She looks for a cool spot when she's had enough sun. I get worried, too, and start poking her or get her mouse toy out to test her.
