Hi again,
Rusty had a good day today and appreciated having his beans around. He gets anxious if we're gone too long. He had good appetite and good breathing.
Last night we were at a dinner at the French restaurant here in town. This week is Adirondack Food week and all the restaurants in the area are having dinner specials. So our little group had a very nice 3-course meal for $20 per person, including wine. So we sat and talked and Rusty was meowing for us when we got home around 9:45! But then he settled down and ate the rest of his dinner sitting on my lap.

Yesterday I did a 20-mile bike ride with friends from our Mt. Club chapter on Vermont's Grande Isle. It was a beautiful, spring day (spring over there is about 2-3 weeks ahead of us), with lots of trees in leaf, and flowers, and green pastures on which happy cows were munching. We rode out on the causeway in Lake Champlain (an old railroad bed that connects the Grand Isle to the mainland near Burlington). This is a fun ride and we do it every year.

Today was a lot of catch up on chores and paperwork. We had planned to go to NYC tomorrow, but our basement has so much ground-water seepage that we want to take a few more days mopping and will cut our trip short. Planning now to leave on Sunday.

Wishing all a good evening and continuing to send vines to all in need,
