Odd cycle, for Neko, last night. But AMPS was a little later as I move back to regular schedule. Neko was very affectionate this morning after the last Otto feeding. I think she was telling me, "give me the last bit of food so I can get out to the solarium". But the purrs and head butts were nice while she tried to get me to move. :) We have overcast but still plenty warm for taking the heat in her solarium bed.

Theo is still limping, not as badly as he was on Friday. It felt so strange today preparing two bupe syringes and giving it to both after breffs. One more day of that and we'll see if it's still needed.

Happy Mother's Day everyone! I'm off to the island to visit my parents. Neko is in charge of the house til we get back.
 
Purrs and head butts from Neko - sounds heavenly.
Glad to hear that Theo's limp is not as bad. Be nice to Theo today, Ms. Neko.

I hope Theo improves and feels better soon, vines have been sent! Wendy, I hope you've had/are having a nice time out:). Neko, be good and stay in that nice low blue!
 
Neko, Mama would like something in green for her day today - but please make it high green! Also, it's Be Kind to Brothers week, so take it easy on Theo, 'k?

I'm glad Theo seems to be getting better. Sending more healing vines for him.

The ferry was 1/2 hour late getting over there and "only" 15 minutes late coming back. The main ferry was out of service for a while getting an overhaul and a new deck with room for 15 more cars. And they are still getting used to it. After that, lunch was good - I ordered from a local cafe so no work for my mother.

@ Julie, Lori, Suki, Bron, Linda, Carla, Peg, Rachel - I'm hoping Neko was mostly flat today. She was glad to see us back, and wanted out for her usual 2 minutes when we come in the front door. Theo seems a bit better - even if the front paw is hurting, it didn't stop him from whacking with it. :rolleyes: And Neko whacked back. :cool:

Brothers and sisters. Whacking's to be expected. Neko, just take it easy on Theo 'til his foot/leg issues get all better. OK?

Very thoughtful of Neko to keep those numbers in the no-worry zone.

Whacking's good when it's reciprocated. Not much fun when only one is the whacker and the other is always the whackee :p

perhaps the island isn't so competetive to get food out anywhere....
we never try to go out on mother's day....unless you get there at 11 am.... otherwise you have to wait.... or have reservations...


looks like Neko did at least wait for you to think about lagoon time....
 
Glad you had a nice day out, it sounds so cool saying, I'm off to the island! Oops like Neko might be off to the lagoon :D
