Hi everyone!

Not much new in the world of mocha .. still enjoying her condo at the falls *knock on wood* .. This last week has been beautiful here and she's enjoyed laying on the bed putting her little nose up in the air and sniffing away at all the new scents coming .. Today is rainy and gloomy so she's conked out in her little nest of blankets ...

I tested mocha yesterday and got a 61 .. I was hoping her numbers would be low still because with spring in bloom now she's suffering from her usual spring time allergies .. Her eye gets real boogery (is that a word? ) and her ears tend to stay kind of warm .. this goes on for a few weeks and then it goes away .. we've taken her to the vet for it in the past and she confirmed it is probably just allergies .. I feel bad for her though .. thankfully she doesn't ever seem to bothered by it ..

Other then that all is well with her .. I did post a video of her on my FB page the other day .. she was sound asleep and snoring ever so softly .. she get's that from her daddy! When they nap together I can't get a break!

I hope everyone see's lots and lots of  today!

Hi Devon,
Such a great report on Mocha. I am so glad that she is happy and has such good numbers. I'm sure you are, too! Rusty has been taking Standard Process Allerplex for his chronic lung congestion/allergy and it has made a big difference. It is a holistic human allergy remedy that Marje told me about. Perhaps you might want to try it on Mocha. There are no harmful chemicals in it. Here's a link to a description. You can buy it at Amazon.

Rusty gets the contents of 1 capsule a day, sprinkled into Beechnut Stage 1 turkey babyfood, and mixed into a slurry with a little water. He loves it, and considers it a treat.

Have a lovely weekend, thanks for all your support!

Hugs & scritches,

Ella & Rusty

I enjoyed reading about Mocha! I totally understand the sniffing of the interesting air - Papaya seemed to be stuck in "sniff" mode for so long I had to make sure she wasn't having breathing problems!

As a person with "just" allergies (there's some antihistamine commercial with that line that really cracks me up). . . as much as I love to have the windows open to smell that spring air, when I do I really pay the price with allergies. It seems to let in a lot of the pollen and such. If "boogery" wasn't a word, it is now  I hope the worst of the allergy season passes quickly for Mocha.

Have a cozy rainy day!

Hi, Devon ~ how nice to be able to post on a Mocha condo!
I'm glad she isn't bugged by her allergies.
boogery (is that a word? )
As a teacher of 3- to 5-year-olds, I hereby declare that it is officially a word.

Enjoy your day!
Hugs and scritches to you guys!!

  :-D I agree with Josie... I'm glad Mocha has a condo of her very own!!!! BEAUTIFUL numbers little girl! Keep 'em down:mrgreen:

I hope her buggery bits go away fast. I guess the good thing about this cold rain is that it'll wash some of the pollen away. Then they can sniff the air to their hearts content.
Cuddle up with Mocha and cuddle away this dreary day! Many hugs and scritches to you. thank you very much for all of your cheery visits!
xoxo mary and ollie

Hi Devon. Great report for Mocha & I'm glad she is doing well. Thank goodness her allergies are in check for the time being.

Have a great day.

Thanks for the report on Mocha - you two are definitely an inspiration to those of us hoping to go OTJ! Your encouraging visits are so welcome.

Have a great day!

Glad to hear good report for Mocha. We forbid you to leave the falls, ever.... You must remain.

I googled boogery.... ( and heed my warning, don't do it) .....
 :o
i gather others have invented that word too....

I'm going back to your definitition and Josie's class.

YAY! I get to post in a Mocha condo, and one w/ such a great WCR too. I hope her allergies go away soon! I wish I could commiserate on the rainy weather, but I would kill for more rain here.

Hi Devon, what a treat to see a Mocha condo and hear how well she's doing lately. I hope her boogery eyes clear up soon. The word, boogery, made me laugh, but not laugh about her eyes, just the word. I agree, you and Mocha are an inspiration that maybe some day....you know what! Have a great weekend.

Thanks for the visits everyone! Glad you all enjoyed mocha's condo ..

Ella, I will read about the allergy meds you are giving rusty .. a few years back when I mentioned mocha's spring time allergies someone mentioned a human med to use, of course, I can't remember the name of it now, but it was a tiny pill we cut up and gave to her .. Thankfully her allergies only last a week or two and it's just mainly the eye gunk we have to keep wiping away ..

Have good one, and keep those greens Mocha.

Glad to hear Mocha is still doing well and enjoying the new scents and smells of the springtime. Sorry to hear about the boogery eyes...I get boogery eyes, too, thanks to sinuses. Shasta says she's happy to know that she's not the only kitty that snores! (but she gets it from me!) :-D

Happy Caturday, Devon!
