oh wow.... what to say about yesterday. We bounced. I can't remember the last time we had a red number - it's been months. We've beena t this for nearly four years, and still these ugly numbers are just plain hard to deal with. so..... we chalk it up to one number in a sea of thousands, and start again this morning. Think blue, think green Mannie, OK? Ahhhhh.... there is that affirmative head nod. Good for you big guy - lubs ya! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D It was fun yesterday morning when I got Nicholas to the house in the morning. I had been telling Mannie that DGS was coming, best be ready. So, when DGS came in the door, his head starts doing the 180, looking for Mannie. He finally sees him at the top of the stairs, and let's out these ear piercing squeals of delight. :lol: :lol: :cool: He couldn't wait to get tot he top of the stairs. Mannie heads over to the nanner pile, DGS follows, and promptly begins to decorate Mannie with all of the nanners. Mannie just sits there purring away, didn't move a muscle as he is covered with the nanners, one by one. :cool: :cool: , and Priceless. This morning we had a great test, shoot and clean plate club - AND the auto feeder still continues to be used by Mannie, and Elsa still thinks it has her name on it, and is ever so happy when he chooses to ignore it.... Some things just never change. Normalcy in MannieLand. :-D

Have a great day everyone! I am back on DGS duty through Friday, no condo visiting for me.... Swimming today, and I hope for good weather so that we can go to a local park after that. Paws crossed. I will miss you guys, and will try and get to condos when I can. and all you furkids: think blue, think green kitties!

Hey everybody!!!! MORE NYC!!!! Today we gets to ride he Staten Island Ferry! :cool: :cool: :cool: :cool: :cool: I lubbed seeing our ancestors in the museum - wow - they are so BIG! Did you hear? Moonie's bean is making us all necklaces like they were - cool huh! The ball game was so cool - OK: who was it that was playing pitcher huh? you was so good! I think it was Tobes! And Willie was catcher!! heeheehee... they didn't seem to mind, the players that is. it was fun at the library too - wasn't it all great when we all pretended to be statues, lik the lions? heeheehee... see you guys later! more fun in the city!! ~~ Mannie

Hi Michelle, well Mannie did come down to almost blue, quite a drop there so early, Mannie. I guess all the cheese souffle is out of his system. :-D Mannie, how about a nice surf today! That is so adorable with DGS and the nanner decorating. What a cute pair they make. We would love to see another video of it! I love the pics of Nicholas. That's a real crab??? He's having a ball at the pool and beach. Thanks for the link, too. I will watch it when I have a cup of coffee.

Mannie, hey NYC here we come again and Staten Island Ferry. And Moonie's Bean is making all of us necklaces. I love jewelry and can't wait to see what she made me. Yeah yesterday was a blast! See ya at the curb, Mags

Hi guys .. yeah, I think no matter how long we are dealing with FD those high numbers are hard to take .. but they are behind us now .. mannie is moving along nicely today! WOOT!, and it looks like DGS's and my plans for today will be altered... no river today! but that's OK - the local beach will do very nicely once Mannie gets on his board. :mrgreen: :-D

Morning Ann - oh yes on the drop, and he wasn't done either! :shock: :? yes it was on the cheese souffle, out of the system - I think he missed it so much that he decided he wanted more. and so it was: chicken and cheese souffle at +3.5. :lol: :lol: yep - I do need to do another DGS and Mannie video. Soon I hope! and yes - that was a real crab! he did haev fun. with Mannie diving this morning, i think it will be a return trip to the beach this afternoon. :-D :cool: :cool:

How adorable! I love how Mannie just sits there and takes it without flinching a whisker.....the grandkids come over to my parents place and whoosh you won't see Leo until the kids are gone. Its nice to see Nicholas and Mannie get along so well.

Wow that was some impressive drop this morning Mannie, you got skills! :-D

Hi Tracy - love it too! We are working on the toss in the face thing, but Mannie never seems to care. :lol: and yes - they have the best relationship - I love it. Mannie has an incredible amount of patience. An dyes on the frop - omg! I just hope we don't get an awful bounce out of this. paws crossed!

Hi Barb - No worries - it is nice to see, a little dramatic, but nice. Never a dull moment with Mannie. :roll: cool on the vid! I hope you like it.

Oh now neat - I love interaction between Nicholas and Mannie. Mannie is so cool and gentle with Nicholas, moving out of his way . Cute with Mannie hiding that last nanner under the table. That is neat the way you have all the videos together. Cute one with DGS and the geyser. :-D Mannie, I gotta say, Mags and I love your Manxy tail, and thanks for showing it off to us! :lol:

Wow, I guess that +2 meant an active cycle for Mannie. Hope you made it to the beach.

Ok, well, you saw green and now the blue will be a good surf for you to get to the beach with Nicholas. I love the video! I can't believe what Mannie takes and the interaction is hysterical. I can relate because I had a Maine Coon, and she would not stand for anything at all, you would get her sharp claws at the slightest things, and never would she put up with any children. Mannie is an angel and so is your DGS!

Have a great time with your DGS, it sounds like, and looks like, you are a wonderful grandmother too!

Despite Mannie's dive to the green lagoon this morning DGS and I did manage to have alot of fun. Once Mannie was beginning to surf Nicholas and I went to a park down the street so he could play on the swings for a bit. We were back to check Mannie an hour later, and by then he was a low blue, so we headed off to the beach. The tide was out today too, so DGS was able to really explore the beach. More crabs to be found today. :-D :-D :cool: All in all a great day! Mannie made Green, and Nichols was full of smiles. I will post a few photos in Mannie's condo tomrrow,.

Hi Ann - yes, Mannie really is very gentle with him. I can feed him treats and he'll darn near bite my finger off, not with DGS: he very carefully takes whatever the offering is, then licks DGS's fingers, as if to say thank you. Way too cute! I'm glad you got to see the other vids. I like those geysers - he has alot of fun with them. :lol: :lol: on his manxy tail - he is very proud of that ya know.... and yes - we did make it to the beach. Thanks Mannie!

Hi Linda - thanks (!!) for the visit. and yes , one does. that is about the limit for Mannie. That kid can crawl all over him, mess with his ears, legs, everything, but sitting? no way.... thanks too on the vids!

Hi Barb - yep, the blue worked well - he held onto that until pmps, so we were good to go. Thanks on the video! Mannie really likes this kid, plus he truly is a very laid back cat, not much ruffles his feathers. Oh wow on your Maine coon. My Elsa is like that - she doesn't put up with it either.... and thanks you - I too think he is an angel: bot of them, and thank too - I do try....

Hi Liz - yes, agreed on the sitting! :lol: :lol: :lol: and yes on the drop, and I told Mr Liver the same ting. We shall see if he was listening... :roll:

Awe... Love the video of M & N!

Mannie is so incredibly patient and I love the way that Nicholas gently touches his paws:) They have a very sweet relationship!
I'm glad you were able to get out and enjoy finding treasures on the beach cause that's always fun!

Hi Tamara - many thanks! they do have a very special relationship. It always amazes me how gentle and understanding they are with each other - in this video DGS was a little "wham!" with the nanner toss: working on that one! Me too on the beach - it was such a good day for DGS.

I just love the video!! What a happy way to end my day before bedtime. I like the choreography that Nicholas does placing one nanner on Mannie's back and then taking it off and putting the other one on his back (very synchronized!). Mannie looks so happy and relaxed once he has his nanner all to himself.
