Morning ~O) ~O) it's nice to get a blue AMPS for a change. It appears Maggie surfed the blues last night. I can always trust her to eat when low, and she had a CPC.
ETA - Mags just had some very stinkey prezzies, so :-D I deleted the previous line.

I'm having better luck with the two pills thanks to all of your suggestions. I give Mags one chicken Temptation, quickly followed by the pp with pill, occasional finger bite, ouch! :lol: Mags has good appy but lately is sleeping all day, just getting up to eat and use the lb. I think I will get her in to Vetty next week. At nighttime she's alert though. One of her eyes sometimes tears or is teary. Our parking lot/gate repairs are now moved to May 21-24 due to rain and cancellations, so this coming week will better for a Vetty visit.

Hi, Ann, I'm glad the pilling is getting a little easier. Pilling a cat is quite a feat!

I like this - a blue amps! Well done Maggie! I will hope for another great blue surf, with maybe some toe dipping into the green lagoon. Go for it. :-D

YAY on the pilling going easier. Trick them with treats! :-D :-D and it doesn't seem to have affected her BG's at all. How nice it that? BJ had an eye that did that too: tearing now and then. I don't remember it being of major concern, nor do I remember what reason the vetty gave. I need memory piils... :roll: :lol: Mannie was always a daytime sleeper too, part of his being a senior I think, part of just what he did. He did his thing in the mornings and the evening, during the day: major sleep mode. Good luck with a vetty visit should you decide to go.

Oh wow on the parking lot delay. I hope that mans that you can still use the lot until they start repairs? I am assuming so.

I hope the sleepy daytime is just Maggie being a cat. Lots of good vetty vines for her eye. I hope that's easily remedied.
Congrats on your pilling success. Hopefully, she doesn't catch on :cool:

Hey, the girls are in sync today...at least with their AMPS! Very nice start for Maggie.

My guys also generally sleep like furry little rocks during the day, especially during the "extreme temperature months", winter and summer. Of course, we all know how much kitties luv to sleep...except when their beans are trying to sleep, that is :lol: !

I had a feeling it might be a slow surf day, as Mags just got vocal as it was time for a third breffifs. Mags is very vocal this morning. I'm off shortly for some errands and to meet a friend for breffifs/coffee.

Hi Michelle, really good coffee from our Elsa Barista girl. She is really getting good at it and makes it nice and strong, just perfect. Yes, we can get back in our parking lot. They probably should have scheduled it for summer as May can be iffy with overcast weather/rain. Mags seems okay this morning. I hope the teary eye is an easy fix, too.

Hi Amy, I guess that is what a cat does is sleep during the day and wake the Bean up at night! :lol: So far so good with "in the box."

Hi Mary, yes the pilling is a success with the one tartar treat before the pill. :lol:

I believe that historically cats are nocturnal creatures (the best hunting is at night), so it's not surprising that they save their energy during the daytime. They also like to sleep as much as they can. Mags is a cat, isn't she? :lol:

My girls have reported to me that "Girls don't stink. It's the boys." Just so ya know... ;-) :lol: !!!

Well, not too bad and surfing along today. I made a Vetty appt. for Mags next Thursday. It's her Senior Exam/blood panel, urinalysis, b/p check, etc. This was the first appt. I could get with my regular Vet. She's seen the other two when she's had to get in quick, but has not seen her regular Vet since December.

Thanks Devon, Ann & Tess and Amy for the visits and good wishes on the prezzies, stinkey or not, and very welcome. :lol: It's good to see her on an every other day schedule and sometimes three days in a row.

Well, still blue, right Mags? Time to cruise on back down girl! Funny on the stinky prezzies ... sometimes Leo does his thing and I can smell it ACROSS THE HOUSE. Yeah, BOY STINK! :lol: :lol: :lol:

I'm glad the pilling is getting easier. I get bitten sometimes too, but not really on purpose. Poor kittehs.
 
Yay on the prezzies today. Maybe Maggie will give you some green now. I'm glad you are able to get her pills in her easier now. I hope everything goes well with the vetty visit next week.
