Good morning, Lantus/Levemir Land! Today is Anne's birthday. She is celebrating by giving tours at our local arboretum, looks to be a beautiful day after 4" of snow yesterday morning. That's spring in the mountains. :cool: I ran a 10k race yesterday in the snow, which was mostly mud by the time I got there. :joyful: My shoes are still drying.

We are leaving on Tuesday for Vancouver to do a cruise to Alaska, which will be a new state for both of us. Everyone says it's amazing. I am hoping to see the Northern Lights too. Afterwards, we will meet up with Wendy and Mariko, as well as Neko and Theo and Ginger and Cashmere! We are so looking forward to that. :cat: :cat: :cat:

We are very sad to learn of Blackie's passing, many comfort vines to Angela and DH.

Have a great time on the cruise, we`ll be sailing to Alaska the week after you guys. I wish we were flying in to Van earlier so that we could have met up. Great that you`ll be meeting up with Wendy and her family.

Have a wonderful trip, guys! It will be neat to meet up with Wendy and Mariko in Vancouver. I hope you get to see the Northern Lights in Alaska. When we were there (August 1995, on a canoe trip north of the Arctic Circle) it was daylight all the time, so we missed the Lights.

Rusty says that Tillie should come visit him while you are away. They can hunt rodents. Great pic of Tillie!

And Happy Mothers Day to you both, furbabie mamas! I hope you enjoy your trip very much and your visits with the kitties and beans Wendy and Mariko. The Northern Lights are beautiful, and I'm sure they are even better farther north than I've seen! Hugs!:bighug:

We have a favorable forecast for northern lights on Saturday and Sunday, so we are hopeful!

Tillie is quite keen to come stay with Rusty on a rodent hunting holiday while the beans are away. Our housesitter/catsitter is likely not to see her anyway, only empty food bowls. So who knows where TT may be? ;) We can play a "Where's Waldo" version - "Where are Tillie and Rusty?" :joyful:
