Good Morning LL's

Well today is Thursday and my last day with Leo before i have to go back to work and hand him off to his grandpa for the week. I am sure DGpa will be thrilled to have his kitty back, he's been phoning everyday to find out how he's feeling, its as if Leo having acromegaly makes him now different somehow. :lol:

The wakeup calls began this morning 30 minutes before shot time, Leo's internal clock works like a charm.......wake up wake up wake up I'M HUNGRY!!! Everything went well this morning and we are already back in bed and i'm trying to type with Leo on my chest.

I will miss Leo's 13th birthday this week :sad: It's on Tuesday next week, maybe we'll have an early birthday party today to celebrate. FF for everyone!!!

Morning! I'm with Serryn - you can have an early birthday party before you leave, and then when you get back. Sounds like a plan.... :-D

LOL on the trying to type with a kitty on your chest. :lol: :lol: :cool: You did well!

It is so great that DGP calls everyday to see hoe Leo is. I think it's wonderful - he loves his DGFurkid.

Happy Birthday Leo! Yes, I love the idea of two birthdays.
Mags says she needs more lessons on the mouse catching from Leo.
So cute with DGPa and Leo! :-D

Yes a birday party at my grandparents place on Tuesday sounds good, its not just my birday but also my brother Toban's too, we are twins. I will ask him what kind of cake he wants, but i'm thinking we would like mouse cake. I hear from my bean that we'll have a birday party today and one when she gets home next week but those parties will be just for humans. :roll: PARTY!!!! :-D

I don't know why i keep testing at +4 everyday, he doesn't start his onset until around +6.....i'm still learning his levemir cycle.
 
Same here. :roll: but some times Tess surprises us and it's a good heads up. Beside i can remember to do it because that's when she gets second breffis! :lol: :lol:

OK! Mouse cake it is and Toban too? I'll make an extra big one then! Uh, you gotta help catch all the mousies though, you are the bestest at it! -- Tess
 
WAHOOOOOO! Just got the call back from Leo's insurance, everything will definitely be covered for SRT and it will be under our new "unlimited" policy! One less thing to worry about. We will be covered for treatment in the US if i choose to take Leo there, they are sending me a document in writing from one of the insurance veterinarians saying that yes Leo's treatment will be covered, so i'll have that handy.

Just packing up Leo's things for the week with DGP's, he comes with more luggage than i do :roll: Will check in later, after the birthday party......Leo's in for a real treat but he doesn't know yet so.......SSSSSSSSSSHHH!
 
Tracy, wow that is great about your insurance! What kind of insurance do you have in Canada? I have VPI, but it's not as good as yours! I'm so happy for you. Leo, we love you.

We are at the DGP's and Leo's already gotten a mouse! We let him bring it in and he didn't take it to his dish but ate him up right at the door.

He had his birthday treat of steak, bought specially for the occasion. I tried looking for birthday hats for him and Toban to wear but they don't sell them anywhere!
 
Happy birthday! You, Toban, and Binks have almost the same birthday. Leo, you are an amazing mouser. I guess he is stockpiling of the birthday cake. Great news on the insurance, Tracy. have a good week at work. DGp wants his boy back.

Not sure which image was more disturbing... eating the fresh mouse or the birthday video that Celi's posted! :?
