Happy Caturday! Well, It was suggested that I increase back up to 2.5 as her #s are trending up since the decrease to 2.25. I am home all day and will get extra test today and if she doesn't come down to normal #s I will increase tonight or tomorrow am. Come on little girl and show mommy you can hold this reduction and that you were still bouncing. Also, Im on 5 months with this vial so Perhaps I will go today and get a new one.

Yay for a day at home! I've read/heard in the past that you may not want to do a dosecrease at the same time you switch to a new vial/pen. If the old insulin is losing its punch, doing a dosecrease at the same time may be a double whammy. Just a thought I had.....hopefully the more experienced users can confirm (or deny) that.

Regardless, good luck with a dosecrease if/when you decide it's time!

Tested at +5.5 and she is 71. Her nadir is usually +5-+6, so will test again at +6, then its feed time because I held off feeding at +5 to see what she was gonna do.

Well I tested at +6 and she was still at 71, then I meant to take a nap and slept til 6pm(3 1/2 hours) , guess I needed it! She had a nice day and I can tell she is feelin good. We will keep her on 2.25 for now. Oh, and I never made it to refill the rx for a new vial yet, but this one is apparently still good.

Yay for Caturday naps! Of course - I don't take naps. I take "sleeps"! ohmygod_smile :lol:

Oh, and I never made it to refill the rx for a new vial yet, but this one is apparently still good.

I would agree that there is still a little bit of punch left in this vial! ;-)

Nice day cycle for Chi Chi and so considerate to do it while you are home. Dose and vial still looking good.
