@Bandit's Mom Hi Bhooma Yesterday was terrible :banghead: Maybe it was my fault but I doubt that a couple of temptations drive his blood BS for the 2 cycles yesterday . Maybe it was just the bounce from the low numbers 2 days ago ? But I don’t get why he had a low number yesterday morning at +2 wouldn’t that have meant the bounce was over ? I hope he goes back down today ? Will you be around for a few hours ? Incase I need you?

It might not have been just the temptations, but they did reduce the action of the insulin and contributed to the bouncing. Hope you got some rest last night because you do need it for the marathon that is feline diabetes!

Let's see what he does today. I will check in from time to time :-)

LOL - I can't help but giggle when reading these answers from Bhooma because this is all stuff that Shooter does that I have FINALLY been starting to figure out. As Bhooma said, the temptations might not be the ONLY reason but it did contribute. I know with Shooter a food bump with a bounce throws him off for a couple cycles (which is so frustrating). And then the "might be one of those cycles where he keeps heading lower until PMPS" seems to be happening for us quite a bit lately.

You're doing great Nancy. And we all know Bhooma is GREAT. ;)

Thanks so much Heather :bighug::bighug::):) Yes Bhooma is amazing !!!!!

Yes. I am hoping he surfs greens and doesn't zoom up as much without food/high carbs.
Ok great so do I ! fingers and toes crossed . Also one more thing should he be totally walking on his tippy toes now ? Because he’s not . He is way better than he was but still not really normal. He can walk but can’t jump on the couch or anything . But I think that’s the arthritis. He’s not completely on his tippy toes though but as I said way better than he was . Is there still a chance he could get even better?

We don't know how much of his mobility issues are neuropathy and how much is arthritis. His neuropathy should resolve fully and he should not stand/walk on his hocks. But arthritis can make walking, running, jumping difficult.

So should he be fully recovered by now from the Neuropathy
