I only used a few packs so I would be more than happy to send you out a few packets to get you started if you aren't able to get it. PM if you would like. Which ab are you on? I am sure once all of this stuff clears she will be right back on track. Although we will not have a condo anymore I will still be on al ot checking on all my friends! Have a great night!

Hi Michelle, you are so sweet. Thanks for the offer of sending me some Fortiflora. I just ordered some from Amazon. They are pretty fast with their deliveries. I'm tempted to apply for that Amazon Visa card to get a $40.00 gift back, but I hesitate to apply and give my SS# on line. I know it's a secure site, and I am always ordering from Amazon. She had a huge bounce last night. Her appetite is good and loose bowels have stopped, so now I know it was from the Miralax. I'll be checking in with the Vet this morning. Maggie insisted I get up and keep her company, so I've been up since 3 am! I can't believe the BG drop to 99 from 209. This can't be good, although it's nice to see a green. I'm using up some of the whole unit syringes, so I may have accidentally given her slightly over half a unit. Does every little drop of the Lantus make that big a difference? I'm so glad to hear you will still be checking in with us, as I am already missing seeing Scrabble's face here as one of the early birds.

Re: 5/10 Ann & Maggie +10=99; AMPS= 118

Maggie's numbers are coming down to where I considered more normal. I had to give her food in order to give the antibiotic, so the BG 118 is after a little food.

PMPS=209;
+10=99;
AMPS= 118

Yeah, you'll defintely need the syringes with the 1/2 unit markings and big ugly glasses too to read the tiny doses! :lol:

I hope you had a little nap today if you've been up since 3AM to keep Maggie company!

Nice numbers today for maggie!

And hear ya on the half unit markings for syringes, and Helene comments about the big ugly glasses. uh... sounds like me.

Hi Ann and Maggie, so glad to see the better numbers today!!! What I would do with the ab is test first/feed/shoot then give ab. That seemed to work for me and then I knew I was getting a true ps #. I am sure Maggie will be on the mend in no time! It was so hard for me not to open a condo today, I was so sad and happy at the same time!!! I will still be here in the mornings since I am sure I will be checking in on everyone when I get home from work in the wee hours. HOpe the foritflora helps, my kitties loved it!!! Have a great day! Scrabble is rooting for Maggie!!! When are we going to see pics of the little lady!?

Re: 5/10 Ann & Maggie AMPS= 118; =6=113

Hi,
Thanks everyone. Yes, I did squeeze in a nap today. I know; I'd better get those half unit syringes out and big ugly glasses.
Michelle, you were missed here with not having a condo. How's Scrabble doing today? I know; I'd better buy that digital camera next purchase so everyone can see my beautiful Manx tabby. Maggie seems more back to herself today. I will try that with the ab instead of the way I did it this morning. I did call her Vet, and he recommends two weeks for the antibiotic, instead of three, and then return for another urine test to see if the antibiotic did its job.

Hi Ann and Maggie, have you bought new syringes yet? I have a full box of 1/2 unit marking syringes, I could send you some if you need. Glad to see Maggie is doing better. My vet originally had said 3 weeks too but then when we got the ab he changed it to 2 weeks. Hope the infection clears up quick!

Definitely nicer numbers!

You might want to ask over on Health about how much time you need between stopping the ABs and getting a repeat UA. If it's too soon, you may get a false negative.
