She is now asymptomatic, she responded well to the doxycycline and cerenia..

But she's resumed her pattern of yellow thru blue during the day, and blue to green nightly. That's very tough to keep up with. I think the high yellows at AMPS may reflect her going below her comfort zone at night. Also, nighttime is her heaviest food time. I use the feeder to give her enough food to keep her from DKA-ing while I sleep. The downside of that is that it gets her BG pretty high by AMPS.

Since the JFH job is now over, I can monitor her more carefully.
I hate to increase her insulin before I know precisely what is occurring during the night hours.

I'm glad she's feeling better.

It is possible she's been dipping lower, especially in some of those pm cycles. Hopefully all will become clear with a little extra monitoring.

Yes, when I was able to test more at night I saw that pattern. I think it's the same now, with bounces from the night.

I hope you can adjust things to help flatten TiTi out. I'm glad she is doing better. :bighug:

Well, I don't want to increase her dose unless absolutely necessary.

May 2nd to May 3rd was probably the destabilizing period. During that short time, I forgot her AMPS shot:banghead::banghead:, found the loaded syringe at 4pm and then gave her the insulin. This meant that I had to wait until 8am the next morning before giving TiTi her next shot.

As if that wasn't enough, that evening I had a defective syringe, and most of the insulin poured out of it, when I depressed the plunger of the syringe. :banghead::banghead:So again TiTi had to wait until the next morning for a full shot. That amounts to draining her depot, at least I assume so, and it was like decreasing her insulin dose 3 time in 36 hours. Not good at all. :arghh::arghh::arghh:

I feel for you! Us beans have all done similar things . Please don't beat up on yourself :blackeye::).
When this happens we just get back on track :bighug:

Three in a row? How awful. Well, TiTi is getting back to normal now, but this is a harrowing disease. Thanks for the support; it means a lot.
