You too Paula, have a good day ! Weekend tomorrow!!
Olive and Ti-Mousse are following the same curve: numbers alike at PMPS and numbers the same at AMPS; let's hope they go to the Beach together today even if it's raining!![]()
Hi Paula,
Cold rain here today and snow possible on Mothers' Day! I put my Hummingbird feeder out just in case they show up.
I hope Olive has a good weekend (you, too).
We've been in NYC for Wagner's "Ring" at the Metropolitan Opera. Ran out of cellular data streaming the Barr hearings! (we don't have wi-fi in the city). Back home to continuation of "Mud Season" and the beginning of "Blackfly Season". And trying to catch up with the Board!
Lucky to have those nice birds around, but you also have bears ....I just saw 4 scarlet tanagers flirting in what will be the pickle bed. Can't say I've seen them before. About 10 yrs ago I saw a blue bunting at our feeder, haven't seen one since. But I pull in the feeders for the summer since the bears destroyed them. One (feeder) has yet to be found. The ones we did find were barely recognizable.

So cute, you should take pictures!!Yes bears although since I pull in the feeders they don't come onto the cleared property now, but neither do the birds since there is no seed for them.
One year we had momma turkey, 2 adolescent turkeys and 14 poults stroll by our deck. Now the adults are always going through but haven't seen poults for years.
you should take pictures!!
Gus is good. He is a handful when he goes outdoors: keeps running under the neighbor's shed. Aside from that he runs from tree to tree and climbs 4-8 feet up each one, turns around and comes down head-first! I think he is almost all Norwegian Forest Cat: he has all of the traits, including descending trees head first.I saw a hummer about 2 weeks ago which is very early. I put one feeder our. Yesterday I saw a tiny one sitting on the clothes line and hopping back and forth to feeder.
Snow you can keep. How is Gus?
